ADDED WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1:

We took a canoe down from an 18 foot ceiling where it had been hanging for years.  So today is the first time it has been listed.  We found that it is an AuSable Canoe Co. Canoe, built in Oscoda.  It is 8' and made of wood and canvas.  We know it was used by Robert Jones in the 1959 AuSable Marathon where he came in 7th.  We are working on more information about its value.  It will be in the auction.

We also found another wood and fiberglass boat which we thought was an Old Town.  I'm not so sure as of this writing.  The serial number is 464898 and that does not match anything from that company.  If you know canoes, please peruse the pictures and see what you think.  The family said this canoe is the same vintage as the AuSable and we would believe that.  This canoe will also be in the auction along with an aluminium canoe, 2 Jon boats and 2 motors.

This is an estate sale and auction held on the same property. Wonder Women Estate Sales will run the estate sale with Epic Auctions and Estate Sales handling the auction. Household and collections will be in the estate sale, all taxidermy (over 170) will be handled by Epic, as well as selected collections.

This property is a 37 acre Deer Park where you may still bag that trophy deer. The ponds and wildlife make for an idyllic setting.  Our Estate Sale is 2 days, Friday  and Saturday.  Our Auction will start at 11 am Saturday, with preview all day Friday and from 9 am Saturday.  At the end of the auction whatever is left in the estate sale will be auctioned off.
