Dr. James Hunt and his wife, Jane, were well known residents of Columbus, MS and the Golden Triangle area for many years. Dr. Hunt was an outstanding professor at Mississippi University for Women in the Special Education Department. His community involvement as a champion for those with special needs touched many lives. Additionally, James served in the US Army during WWII, was a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
Jane Ramsay Stewart Hunt was, herself, a Columbus treasure! She was a long-time Professor of Music (piano) at Mississippi State University and had a lasting impact on her students. Being a gifted pianist, she also brought the world of music to many churches in the area. Jane truly loved to share her talents with others. As well as being a musician, she authored a book, Farview: Then and Now, about her ancestral home in Alabama.
James and Jane were quite the pair! Their professional and personal lives were a true blend of service to everyone they came into contact with.
On the flip side....they loved to travel! The estate sale offers many of their souvenirs and treasures collected from all over the world.
Superior furniture and high end accessories make up this great sale! You won't want to miss this one!
