Terms

1. Open 9 AM, no early sales.
All sales cash and carry. No checks. No credit cards. No Venmo, No Zelle. There are ATMs in town. Small bills for small purchases please. During the first hour of the sale please do not offer a $50. bill for a $2. purchase. ARM YOURSELF WITH SMALL BILLS. We do NOT hold anything without payment due to being stood up so many times.
2. Please bring packing materials and boxes for smalls. We will have some boxes and newspapers, but most likely not enough for the many fragile Christmas ornaments.
3. Sale starts at 9 AM. If it's SNOWING sale will be held the following Friday / Saturday. Please feel free to email daylilydiva@aol.com before the sale if in doubt or to call in advance. No early buyers please, even if your son has just been burned out of his double wide and needs vintage Christmas ornaments desperately. No even if you have dialysis on Friday and can only come the day before. No even if you are a big, famous buyer and without your patronage our sale will fail. No if you just "happen" to be in the neighborhood the day before and would like to shop early. No if you are a famous antiques author, dealer, influencer and are "always" allowed in early due to your status. No even if you are a vintage Christmas ornament dealer and you desperately need stock for your booth at the White Plains Show. No Mom, not even you! No one will have picked over this wonderful hoard of old fashioned Christmas items before 9 AM on Friday.
4. All items sold as is, where is, with no warranties of any kind as to age, condition, rarity, desirability, country of origin, size, value, weight, provenance etc. Once you have paid for an item it is yours and the best idea is to secure item in your vehicle immediately. Any items left lying around unattended run the risk of being sold a second time and possibly a third time if they are not removed. You will NOT get your money back in this scenario. We are unable to help you move or load bulky / heavy items. WE'RE OLD AND HAVE DIFFICULTY MOVING OURSELVES! Bring a pick up truck, van or big SUV for these bargains and a strong young friend. Don't have a strong young friend? Make one before Friday!
5. Well behaved children are welcome, particularly if they have their own money. Badly behaved children may be locked in your car trunk while you shop.
6. No pets, no matter how cute they are, thank you. This includes carried pets! It's going to be chilly, leave the fur babies, feather babies, and reptile skin babies at home.
7. You enter the sale at your own risk and agree by entering that you are solely responsible for your own safety and in the event you injure yourself or others in your party are injured, you and your comrades will hold harmless all sales participants and the property owner. If you have the temerity to sue anyway, you agree, by entering the sale or walking on the property holding the sale, to be responsible for paying the entire legal costs the owners of the property and sales agents incur to defend themselves legally from you. This is a binding agreement and you accept the terms by attending the sale. Terms posted at entrance to the sale.
8. All items sold strictly for decorative use only, any other use of the items is the sole responsibility of the buyer. For instance, "It's a 1930's electrified tree stand with iffy original wiring. It is up to you to display it unplugged or to have it rewired by a licensed electrician. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG AFTER YOUR PURCHASE." These lovely Christmas things are antique, vintage, used or preowned. They are NOT new.
9. Local curbside delivery of bulky items MAY BE available, price depends upon your location. "Local" means somewhere around: Wayne, Lincoln Park, Riverdale, Towaco, Montville, Kinnelon, Preakness, Pompton Lakes, Pequannock, Bloomingdale, Butler.
10. ALL SALES FINAL. We do not do returns. We do not do exchanges. I'm sorry your significant other doesn't like it. I'm sorry the shade of red doesn't go with your curtains. I'm sorry it is too big for the space. I'm sorry you have buyer's remorse. There are NO refunds! No credits. No exchanges. Take a ride in the country and kick it off onto the side of the road if you must but don't look to bring it back for a refund. *****Will refund to your heir if he / she returns item in same condition it was when sold within two days of the sale and presents an official sealed copy (no photo copies) of your death certificate . Otherwise there are no returns, no credits, no exchanges.
11. NO pocketbooks! No briefcases! No man bags. No umbrellas! Nothing larger than a cash stuffed wallet, thank you!
12. Things in the cases are small fragile items. Ask to be shown anything in the cases. DO NOT OPEN cases yourself. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BOXES AND WRAPPING PAPER.
13. Masks required, it's the law (If law is still in force, who knows from day to day?). Besides, most of our prices are so cheap you might as well dress the part of a thief as these prices are a steal!

Huge sale of vintage / antique / preowned / recycled Christmas decorations.

Featuring 40 Christmas blow molds including several Santas,  Santa with 2 elves, snowmen, 2 angels, soldiers,  little drummer boy, three nativity sets, one smaller nativity set with wooden creche / manger for the baby,  one orphan baby Jesus for the larger size set, lots of candles including a rare pare of elaborate Victorian Gothic looking black candles, candy canes, North Pole sign, Mrs. Claus and more figures.  Also a complete and hard to find miniature (putz / under the Christmas tree size) complete blow mold set (most figures around 4" tall) yes, they made tiny blow mold sets!  

Lots of table top Italian, German and Japanese nativity sets for miniature village under the tree. We have complete sets, stables without figures and individual figures.  

There is a case full of vintage Christmas costume jewelry mostly from the 1950s and 1960s. 

We have old SLEDS:  we have some very fine antique sleds including one decorated with the original ivy hand painted designs, others with great graphics and for decorators we have some $15. sleds to do over. 

There are strings of vintage Christmas lights both E7 and C9 plus many replacement bulbs. 

For wreath makers we have $10. boxes full of vintage glass ornaments needing to be incorporated into wreaths!

Boxes and boxes of old glass Christmas tree ornaments including American (Shiny Brites and other makers), and Polish plus a few German and misc. 

One vintage faux Christmas tree with cellophane needles. 

Set of three wonderful hand made 52 year old Christmas stockings in mint condition.  There are also needlepoint Christmas stockings.  

We have lots of old tinsel garland including some very fine narrow tinsel garland for feather trees. 

You will find  European glass Christmas tree toppers including a Polish one which is really tall and has four balls incorporated.

There are a few strings of mercury glass beads.

We have two wonderful 1950s home made cut out wood hand painted outdoor decorations:  a Santa face and a Santa.

There are toy train / model railroad accessories for under the tree including a pre World War II metal bridge, lots of metal light poles and  signs, some HO Accessories still on original cards and an infinitesmal cloth bag filled with minute bits of coal.

We have one LARGE chunk of coal for a very badly behaved child with a big stocking.  

We have two toy German barns from the 1930s for under Christmas tree display, lead farm  figures, bottle brush trees from Japan with the red wood flower pot bases.

There's a wonderful, highly detailed  1920s doll house which is a replica of a real house in the Poconos.  Also selling a delightful folk art home made 1940s doll house which needs a doll family and furniture.  

Several very nice antique wood Christmas tree yard fences from simple to elaborate.  

Child life size German bisque head antique doll with jointed composition body.  This beautiful girl is in excellent condition and she is HUGE!  She's the size of a real life child! 

We have packs of 20 sheets each of original German Erzgegirge decorated Christmas gift wrapping paper from the late 1940s just after World War II which is still in original packaging for only $6. per package.  

North Brothers (Philadelphia PA) cast iron tree stand in original condition c 1900.  Fanciful curly iron fold up German Christmas tree stand.

Lacy jig saw cut German Black Forest Christmas card holder with elves / gnomes /  tomte / nisse motifs.  

Several schwibboggen which are wooden German candle holders  to be put in the window to light the way for the Christ Child to find your house.

There is a beautiful 70 year old composition doll in very good condition and wearing an antique dress to put under your old fashioned Christmas tree.  

Albert Payson Terhune / Anice Terhune Sunnybank ORIGINAL Christmas card which was never sent.  Terhune was a famous dog writer from Pompton Lakes, NJ in the 1920s through the late 1930s.  His wife designed and sent a Christmas card every year.  This was the last card she designed and it was never sent.  Own a piece of local history!

There is an area of non Christmas things including a farm / harvest / threshers table with utensil drawer and  scrubbed top plus other antique furniture, advertising, Lacy hand wrought iron andirons with fancy pierced flower like decorations, dishware, old cook books, nick nacks, lots of older pressed glass, hand painted china, hand tools, a country store hat rack which is a fabulous piece of sculpture on its own and much more.
