Neighbors of this Dutch Colonial home, tucked into a quiet residential street in Eastchester would never have believed what its former resident—an industrial millwright engineer, avid collector, historian and bon-vivant—had been acquiring!  The gentleman homeowner was often seen working in his garden; he always had a friendly smile and wave for passers-by. Only his family and a few close friends knew of the magnificent mini-museum he had been creating inside!

You can’t believe how the home’s interior has been transformed! Inside: massive beams, timbered entryways, curved adobe walls and trapezoidal passageways—suggest a temple out of an Indiana Jones movie, complete with a basement wine cellar with medieval hardware and 3” door!! It’s a fascinating fortress built by a man with the rich imagination of an artist, the design finesse of an architect, the precision of an engineer and skill of a craftsman. This is the home of a collector’s collector with a voracious appetite for military history and an insatiable thirst for acquiring military artifacts (Please note: there are no firearms or live ammo on premises)

Hudson Estate Sales is pleased and delighted to offer these rare and unusual collections to the public!
