  This week we have a great sale in the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas packed with antiques and collectables from more four decades of family life..  We have Victorian Antique Furniture, “Depression” Glass (Pink) in many patterns, Duncan Phyfe Furniture, a nice Wrought Iron Gazebo and other patio items, Antique Ceiling Fans (one of them is from the Majestic Theater), an Italian Chandelier, and two pairs of nice Prism Wall Sconces.  Even the Window Treatments are for sale.  Most of the furniture and other items in this home have been very well maintained.  This estate sale has a house full of fabulous antique furniture and smaller items so come early for the best selection.  Remember; we will limit the number of people in the house, and we’ll distribute sequential number to those who are waiting to enter.  Thank you!

  Entry / Sunken Living Room / Check-Out Area – features a pair of electric sconces and ornate oval mirror.  In the sunken living room (step down) we have an awesome assortment of antiques and collectables.  We have crystal lamps with shades (BNI), costume jewelry, nice silver-plated serving pieces, a large nicely framed floral painting by R. Guzzardi and other great furniture pieces.  There is a mahogany round drum table with marble insert, antique mahogany round two-tier pie table, a nice antique mahogany harp table / game table (flip and slide to close), and a solid mahogany fold out writing surface desk.  We have a mahogany and velvet Victorian floral parlor sofa and Victorian velvet mahogany king & queen chairs in green.  We have a folding peacock brass fireplace screen, two mahogany drop-leaf end tables with a single drawer, and a Victorian round coffee table.  We have lots of framed art including some great needlepoint pictures and paintings.  The knick-knacks are awesome.  They include: Limoges, Fostoria divided pink candy dish with cover, European bisque and porcelain figurines, assorted red and pink glasses, plates, and a nice assortment of vintage costume jewelry and interesting trinkets.

  Dining Room – features an awesome antique mahogany French Victorian rounded glass curio cabinet with hand painted 3 bottom panels with solid brass trim and key. Inside the case back is lined with red velvet.  It has 3 glass shelves and a fourth behind the solid bottom panel.  There is a double pedestal mahogany Duncan Phyfe dining table with two leaves.  There are also five Duncan Phyfe mahogany side chairs and one Duncan Phyfe arm chair.  We have an awesome mahogany Duncan Phyfe double door china cabinet with two drawers and bottom storage.  We have a nice set of Royal Albert Lady Carlyle China from England in great condition.  We also have a service for eight in the Bouquet and Lattice (Normandy – Pink) glass.  We also have many other Normandy pink pieces and assorted Depression glass in patterns that include Cherry Blossom, Open Rose, Jeanette Sunflower Miss America, Royal Lace, and Tiffin Acadia – all in pink glass.  We also have a set of watermelon stem glasses. Come early for the best selection.  There is also a set of Noritake Kent (5422) china along with some crystal pieces and beautiful crystal glasses.  We have a nice crystal lamp, assorted European dishes, and glass serving pieces.  There is a very nice framed needlepoint picture of a boy and girl.

  Kitchen / Eating Area – features a nice Noritake China set in Ireland Kenmare (2773) lots of serving pieces, bowls, plates and platters.  We have a nice selection of pots and pans, Pyrex baking pans, baking pans and serving bowls.  We have some collectable salt and pepper shakers, a flatware set and singles, steak knives, cutting knives, and serving utensils.  We have kitchen gadgets, cups and glasses, plates, spices, corning ware, and a Kenmore White Fridge (bottom) and Freezer (top).  We have small appliances including: a microwave oven, toaster oven, Waring blender, a Hamilton Beach Blender, a counter craft food processor (Sears), a Keurig coffee maker, popcorn popper, a hand mixer, an electric knife, and more.  We have measuring cups, containers, canisters, pitchers and mixing bowls.  There is also an antique shelf pendulum clock with key along with flower arrangements.  There are also collectable plates and cups, serving trays and a wood shelf.  We have a very nice Duncan Phyfe drop-leaf table and early Victorian carved side chairs.  On the table we have assorted Depression glass serving pieces in a wide variety of patterns.  We also have an Italian crystal chandelier (teardrop) in beautiful condition just waiting for a new home.  We have an oak carved plant stand, a floral arrangement, and a single door mahogany Duncan Phyfe china hutch with a deep drawer and bottom storage.  We also have a framed vintage rooster made from all sorts of seeds.  Come early for the best choices.

  Patio Room – features a floral hide-a-bed, King and Queen early Victorian carved chairs with red fabric, and a heavy Oak oval table with bottom shelf, and a vintage weight scale with wood base.  There is also a colorful elephant (small table), two pink tufted upholstered arm chairs / club/ lounge / rocker in nice condition.  There are lots of glass vases, flower arrangements, a nice cuckoo clock, and florals in this sunroom

  Laundry Room – features a white Kenmore washer and dryer, napkins, cups, plastic storage, an ironing board, assorted kitchen food wrapping, and assorted cleaning supplies.

  Double Garage – features a vintage wrought iron round basket weave pot holder, a rectangular wrought iron pot holder, and a vintage ornamental three-piece wrought iron set (two chairs and a small table).  We have a vintage yellow stool, tables covered with hand tools, a table of assorted garage items, painting, tape, cords, string, and lots of MISC items.  We have a tall little table, a vintage table fan, lots of pots for plants and lots of imitation foliage.  We have a Bissell Power force Helix Turbo Vacuum, assorted vintage jars, picture frames, small table, and lots of floral arrangements.  There is a white metal small round table with four armless metal chairs.  We have assorted yard and garden hand tools.  We have five framed pictures of dogs playing billiards – really nice.  We have lots of file boxes, princess phone, vintage slide projector, Christmas ribbon, wrap, decorations and florals along with wreaths.  There is a metal garden shelf filled with various pots, a radio flyer wagon, a metal garden / flower cart and vintage light ceiling globes. We have assorted bottles of screws and nails, and small drawer containers full of assorted hardware.

  Back Yard – features a very nice antique ornamental wrought iron grapevine gazebo.  There are assorted pots, a white bird bath, planter cart with a little girl, a large concrete bench, and a vintage arbor (with rooster on top) with hanging electric lamp on an ornate cross bar.

  Family Room / Office – features a vintage side chair, a vintage hanging swag lamp, a pyramid-like shape hanging multi-shelf unit.  There is a vintage mahogany rectangle coffee table with double pedestal legs, a La-Z-Boy wall hugger recliner, and two black “club” bar stools.  We have a three candle brass candelabra with crystal prisms.  A pair of brass candle sticks, a European colored urn, and an eagle statue.  There is a nice wooden mantelshelf, and the built-in shelves have lots of knick-knacks small to large.  We have a metal clock with brass feet (w/key).  We have Christmas sweaters, a convex framed needlepoint lady picture, and a nice vintage three-cushion couch with pillows.  There is a huge Asian bonsai glass jade tree and a nice assortment of vintage ash trays.  We have two tufted rust high back upholstered chairs (swivel/rocker) with arms and a single matching ottoman.  There is a nice side table with single drawer and bottom shelf.  We have two matching brass lamps with blue centers (BNI).  We have a mahogany arm chair with yellow-beige turfed back and rush sides.  We have a nice set of three nested tables.  We have a small ornate metal three-shelf table and a large drawer side table. We have an unusual ornate pole lamp with three lights with cut out shades featuring metal roses and leaves.  The office nook has lots of office items, books, paper, glue, staples, clocks and note cards.  It also has a shredder and a nice swag hanging lamp, magnifying glasses, rulers, postcards, and more.  The bar area has some unusual etched pink depression accessories, glasses, bottles, brandy glasses, a Coca Cola framed picture, car, and figurine bottles, large blue bottle, pitcher and glass set, wine rack. and more.

  Powder Room – features a pair of ornate sconces with prisms and the bathroom mirror.  There are multiple towel sets and some powder room accessories.

  Front Bedroom – features a four-post bed with mattress, and box spring.  There is a small antique side bed table with a floral bedroom chair.  We have a PFAFF portable sewing machine with instruction manual and accessories.  There is a Little Bow Peep and a Winnie the Pooh wall hanging items for a child’s room.  We have men’s hats, a convex framed needlepoint picture, a Victorian double globe lamp (BNI), and a mahogany side chair with fabric seat.  There are packages of adult diapers, a child’s doll bed, craft and sewing items, and buttons that are all bagged. We have lots of bias tape and vintage patterns.  This room also has a small fold down desk along with assorted pictures on the wall.  We have some coats and clothing on the doors.  The window treatments are for sale.

  Front Corner Bedroom – features a king French provincial head board with rails.  There is a matching French provincial chest of drawers.  We also have a matching French provincial nightstand and a matching vanity table with fold up mirror.  There is a hanging matching mirror.  The French provincial pieces are all a honey colored wood.  There is a long framed tapestry and assorted lamps with shades (BNI).  We have some clothing and knick-knacks as well as the folded cloths.  We have two Victorian globe lamps – they light top, bottom or both (BNI).  There is a nice antique arm chair, and the window treatments are for sale.

  Master Bedroom / Vanity Area – features three racks of clothing in sizes small and medium.  There are some shoes and a rack of purses.  We have scarves, hankies, socks, slippers, shoes and knee-high nylons and trouser socks.  There is an entire basket of ladies gloves (most are leather).  We have a king mattress and box spring and a king head board with rails.  We have bedding for queen and king beds along with sheet sets, blankets, throws, toppers, and bedspreads.  There are pillows, two nice wood night stands, and a triple dresser with mirror.  We have a few side chairs and a nice bench with metal sides and bottom.  We have two crystal lamps that are signed (Dresden).  They are beautiful.  We have a heart shaped vanity chair with tufted velvet fabric.  The vanity area has lot and lots of new to vintage items.  The large vanity mirror is also for sale.  We’ve listed just the highlights of what’s in this house.  Come early for the best selection.
