Estate Sale, Don't miss this one!

We travel east of Seguin this weekend…a short drive to Kingsbury, Texas!  This quaint country home of a former postmaster of Kingsbury offers lots of country charm.

Included in this packed estate sale are both the old and the new.  A loaded kitchen has the bakeware you will need as you prepare for the holidays in names you recognize like Pyrex, Corning, and Anchor Hocking. There are also serving pieces, glassware, a variety of small appliances, a rolling kitchen cart, and specialty kitchen items.

Furniture includes a dining room table and chairs; a like-new lift chair; post-modern book/curio cabinets; twin brass headboards; a bedroom set with king headboard, a large mirrored dresser, and two nightstands; old typewriter desk; computer desk; a small inlaid tilt pedestal table; lighted china cabinet; a recliner; rocker; and a great four-piece wicker set featuring a very nice old wicker sofa.

Other items in this estate include depression and vintage glassware, wall art, collectibles, and the former owner's own stained glass.   Linens include many tablecloths, crochet and other handwork, and lots of bedding, particularly comforters, bedspreads, and an antique quilt.  There is one entire room devoted to holidays as well as to the arts where artists and crafters can shop for their many needed supplies.  In the garage are tools, a new Masterbuilt Propane Turkey Fryer, a Thane Q Rocket Ship Propane Grill great for tailgating, a branding iron, three rolling walkers with padded seats, and a wheelchair.

Items of special interest include butterscotch Bakelite flatware; vintage Cosco kitchen stool; a Biddeford dual control electric blanket; Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker; Krups espresso maker; Kindle Fire; a working Smith-Corona Coronet Super 12 typewriter in case; a vintage blue sapphire Fire King nesting bowl set, and a Wahl Sweet Dreams massage system for bed or crib.  There are even some items from the old Kingsbury post office that will surely entice dealers and those who love nostalgia - a work table, stool, and metal mailbox unit.  Outdoor items include patio chairs, planters, a three-tier fountain, porch swing, and other yard items.

Though not part of this estate but available at the sale are six antique wooden inlaid wicker-seat dining chairs; a large assortment of quality jewelry, including sterling and New Mexico turquoise (brought in day of sale); a full-sized trampoline; old doors; old oil lamps; lifejackets in good shape and a variety of sizes; caterer trays and bakeware; and rustic outdoor décor.
