OUR PROCESS

All items in the estate are organized and priced by our team. Every item, whether it’s $2500 or 25¢, is priced and tagged with an item specific barcode. Our custom tags integrate with our inventory system, providing you with accurate accounting once the sale is complete. 

For online auctions, meticulous attention to staging, lotting, research, and photography of items forms the foundation.This process extends to crafting comprehensive item descriptions and conducting thorough market research to determine competitive pricing. Marketing efforts should be diversified across social media, email newsletters, and targeted advertising to maximize visibility and attract bidders. Seamless customer support, secure payment processing, and efficient shipping logistics are essential for ensuring a positive experience for both buyers and sellers. Family owned and operated, we manage the valuing, pricing and sale of antiques, rare books, collectibles, fine art, furnishings, high quality household goods, jewelry and select vehicles. We're often able to take everything off your hands through a variety of services, so your'e left without any worry. After an initial consultation, we will determine if an onsite online auction or estate sale is your best option. For onsite sales, our team sets up the home to be as much like a store as possible. We organize, price, merchandise and advertise for an optimal shopping experience. Sales last from one to three days, depending on the size of the estate. We provide you with a complete inventory and issue a cashier’s check within 5 business days of the sale.Commercial Auctions

For commercial ventures, we offer quick and efficient liquidation solutions for items such as restaurant equipment, decor, kitchen equipment, electronics, and raw materials.

During a most difficult and emotional time, saying that we 'loved' any part of the process is untrue. However, hiring Aether Estate Sales to handle our parents' estate sale was one of the best decisions we ever made. Lee came to the home, listened to us first and explained the sales process professionally and thoroughly. He promised to take great care of the many, many items in which we entrusted to him. The feeling of relief is indescribable. All of the hundreds of small details were handled deftly and expertly down to the pricing and sorting of every, single, thing. Aether Estate Sales' team took care of advertising the sale, pricing and organizing the items a week or two before the sale, ensuring customers were treated fairly yet respected our property, and provided the convenience of bar coded price tags...this alone puts Aether in a league all its own. After the sales' conclusion, the home was left absolutely empty and clean ready for the new owners. The only downside is that we needed to remove the trash ourselves but this was clearly explained at the initial meeting - no fault of Aether. Having now witnessed the process first hand of you and your team individually pricing and bar coding almost every item in the 8000 sq. ft. home, staging the items to facilitate an efficient sale and to make the home and the merchandise look appealing, having your respectful and careful employees take the items to the driveway after they were purchased to avoid any damage to the walls and then getting an itemized spreadsheet each night of the sale giving total transparency of what had been sold and for how much...........and finally having the home left empty and vacuumed before you departed made this somewhat daunting task as seamless and stressless as possible.
