Come explore the treasures of Danny Cummins and V.V. "Bubba" Cummins, the Mobile drag strip racer and owner of 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad the Wompin Wagon. In the 1960s and 1970s, Cummins was known in racing circles as "Dirty Dan" for his aggressive driving style and fierce competitiveness on the track. Cumins raced on the Dauphin Island Speedway and the other tracks around the Southeast. Thirty-five years after the Wompin Wagon was parked, his lifelong friend, Peter Pearce, pulled it out of storage and restored the car to its original look, something Cummins wanted to do.
The estate sale is a mechanic and gearhead's dream. It includes a complete vintage mechanic's shop with functional commercial tools. The sale includes Tools, 1955 and 1957 Chevy car parts, engine blocks, rack and pinions, drive shafts, air compressor, vintage race car trophies, ephemera, and more. Tools are in great condition.
Estate also includes lovely antique furniture including sofas, chairs, tables, armoire, dresser, hanging light fixtures, and more.
Collectibles include bicycles, coca-cola, hot wheels, Nascar, cast iron, and more. Large selection of vintage toys priced to go!
