We are excited for the upcoming estate sale of Katherine Phillips Singer. February 14 and 15th from 9-2 and February 16th 11-2. “Aunt Kathy”, as she was often called, was an amazing woman with a passion for collecting all things antique including 19th Century antiques, Mobile memorabilia, World War II artifacts, fine linens, lace, children's dresses, antique books, estate china, rugs and anything from the 1800’s!

Many of you may remember her as one of the stars of the must-see Ken Burns documentary series “The War.” She will also be remembered for her antiques and linen shops at Plantation Antiques, Cotton City and Charles Phillips Antiques. She is a treasured part of Mobile's rich history.

Bender Estate Sales has painstakingly recreated 3 rooms in her home with strictly furniture and artifacts from the 1800's. It is a fascinating walk back in time.

Would you believe we will have a 1st edition book signed by Louisa May Alcott and a tea box from the Boston Tea Party in 1773 among her items for sale?

  • Primitive American Furniture
