Listed below are some things that we are still doing. You are not required to wear a mask, but you are required to keep a distance between other people. If you choose to wear one, we do appreciate it. There has been another out break of this horrible disease and I want you to be here to enjoy Life with your family. So let’s be adults and do what we need to do to be safe.
2. We do not require you to wear gloves, but if you feel safer you are welcome to;
3. We will have sanitizer throughout the house for you to use.
4. We will not have a Sign-Up Sheet at this sale. Numbers will be left at front door on a table for you to use to enter the home. You will line up at the front door at 8:30 in the order of your number and the doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Each person must have a number. If you are not in line by 8:30 when I call numbers you will have to go to the back of the line.
5. Prices are marked on the items, and the Clerk will be happy to mark your items SOLD and write your invoice up. The Clerk will be in the room or standing close by. There will be a table near the Clerk fir you to put items on that you want to buy. When you are ready, the Clerk will write a Invoice up for you to bring to the table to pay for your items. If it is for a large item, tell her what item you want and they will mark your item sold with your last name and write it up for you. You will not be allowed to mark your own items sold. We feel that is one less item you will have to touch. Prices are marked on items and that is the price. We feel that we have studied, cleaned items and priced them fairly, so don’t ask the Clerk if we will take less. This is not a YARD SALE! Also do not be making comments that items are to high or to low. That makes customers feel uneasy. If you think they are to high, then don’t buy them and put the item back where it was. If you have a question, please ask Betty Whatley. (owner) and I will be happy to answer your question.
Please bring someone to help you load, because we do not have anyone to load items. We do have someone to help you load small items, but we expect you to tip him, because he does not get paid. Bring the appropriate tools to take washer and dryer loose and refrigerator and equipment like this.
6. We ARE NOT responsible for any accidents nor are the owners. You enter at your own risk. “Step Downs and Step UPS” will be marked so you will know to take your time.
7. We do have a few bags, but we recommend that you bring your own boxes and bags. When those run out (which they usually do the first hour), then we don’t have anymore.
8. We refuse the right to refuse sale of items to any customer at any time.
9. We will be taking bids on items 100.00 or more on the first day. They can be found on the table where you place your items. You have to bid at least 60% + 1.00 over the marked price. We will call you at 6:00 p.m. if you won the bid.
10. We Do Not do 50% the second day. We do only 40%, 50% if a 3 day sale. No Discount on Jewelry.
11. Due to the large amount of items, value of them, we will have someone in regular clothing watching so be careful before you steal, because you will be arrested. Cameras are also in the home.
12. Do Not Block Anyone’s Drive way or you will be asked to move.

If you need to finish or start your Christmas shopping, this is one sale you don’t want to miss. There are so many things available that you want be able to find these items in department stores. There is a large selection of Vintage, new, Century Modern, hand made, hand painted, all under one roof of Christmas bliss. Come join us for 2 days to help celebrate and for us to say “Thank You” for the wonderful year you have helped us have. Bring your shopping list and come to enjoy finding your treasures.
To start the sale off is to go back for great memories from 1966 with a beautiful original 66 burgundy Mustang, 206 automatic steering, air condition, in excellent condition. Then you can enter the shed or in the house, where you will find tools in shed, unusual items, yard tools, and outside chairs and patio set to help you enjoy the summer. Also included are Christmas wreaths, and decorations that make you want to enter the beautiful home, that is for sale and a Christmas Wonderland, with all the trimmings. These include: Beautiful chest with mirror, Christmas items decorating the top, hand painted plant stand with white vase and olive branches. Then to the left is the large living room with a handmade wisteria Christmas tree (tree not for sale, sorry), but loaded with beautiful Christmas lights and decorations, for sale, Department 56 Village houses, on each side of tree are 2 beautiful cabinets with glass shelves, doors and shelves, and lighted. Inside are a collection of Hummels, and Snow Babies collection. Under the tree awaits 2 sets of handmade wooden choir members holding their music.To be able to sit and enjoy the view, is a lovely couch with burgundy, green and gold stripe, and matching chair. Some of the most beautiful art work adorns the walls, has 2 matching marble and metal end tables, and matching round coffee table with lamps and treasures on each one. A plant stand sits with a beautiful silk poinsettia and a wooden chair with white upholstery. We turn to the right to go into hallway, where a round black table is sitting with a gorgeous black mirror above and art work on the way to the bedrooms, where one bedroom has a Full Jennie Lynn bed with mattress and box springs, Mid Century dresser with drawers and round mirror, newly upholstered bench, a great Mid Century chest with drawers, end table and painted oak end table in beautiful Bayberry Green, decorative pillows, doll house for that young little girl, hanging white star light, along with 2 beautiful marble lamps with birds, also a stand with beautiful bottle with greenery. Then we continue down the hallway, where at the end is a white cabinet with 2 doors and more accessories to top it off. Then to the left you enter the Master bedroom where a King size bed with mattress and box springs are dressed with beautiful King size comforter, beautiful decorative pillows, throws, white wood bench with decorative pillows and plaid throw to keep you warm, then 2 end tables are at the head of each bed with Tiffany like lamps in beautiful colors are placed, large mid century dresser with mirror, lots of drawers, with runner beautiful accessories (great Christmas gifts), also sitting on dresser are to lovely lamps with black shades, also a matching chest with lots of drawers, all in excellent condition. In the closets of the bedrooms and hall are plenty of King size sheet sets, Full Size, blankets, throws, luggage, towel sets, table cloths, pillows, and guess what else, women’s clothes, coats, jackets, shoes, purses. Down the hallway we go into a office with art work, desk and cabinets, office supplies, filing cabinet, stuffed animals in closet, metal shelves for bath, electric typewriter, electric adding machine, gorgeous chifforobe with carving and oval mirror in Door, beige recliner, lots of Christmas decorations, collection of thimbles, some of the cutest pencils sharpeners, lots of books, c.d.’s, movies, comic books, and to it off are a lot of great costume jewelry (great gifts). Then you step into a large den with a blue couch, matching love seat, more decorative pillows, end tables with glass tops, matching coffee table, floor lamp with more table lamps, throws, accessories, beautiful Christmas tree decorated in all it’s glory, lots of Christmas as well as other accessories and decorations, beautiful hand made quilts, corner metal cabinet with wood shelves, beautiful art, beautiful cabinets and bar together with hanging slots for your liquor glasses, lots of drawers, shelves, built in ice bucket, below are c.d.’s, VCR, lamps and on top are more Department 56 houses with greenery, candle holders, lanterns, not counting what is in the shelves. It has a mirrored back with lights. Must see to believe.
As you come back down the hall you can enter the kitchen that has a metal leaf cabinet with shelves, which hold a lot of dishes and accessories. Then the cabinets are full of dishes such as Corning Ware bowls, pots and pans, baking sheets, boilers, muffin pans, lots of glasses, coffee pot, 2 sets of canister sets, one with green Ivy pattern, the other has a 60’s strawberry pattern, which includes a set of strawberry stoneware “Strawberries ‘n Cream, Japan, has matching tea pot, bowl, cutting board, blender, knives and forks, stainless table ware, large boilers, cups with stand, cook books, dish towels, set of knives and holder, kitchen utensils, table with 6 chairs in white and green, beautiful table runner with trees and deer, deer napkin holders, green glasses, clear glasses, beautiful place mats with deer, set of China by Lynn’s, centerpiece with candles and deer antlers, Pyrex bowls, white dinnerware, small Christmas platters, Christmas bowls, silver trays, prestressed, crystal.
Then before you leave, you step into the dining room that has a mahogany table with 6 chairs that are upholstered, has small Christmas wreaths with ribbon on back of chairs, mahogany China cabinet with China in it, mahogany buffet with lots of drawers, dark wood cabinet with glass doors and shelves, dressed in Christmas greenery, trees, candles, decorative plates, has table runner in white with green trees, green napkins with wording, napkin ring holders with ribbon and gold ball, the beautiful China in green and white by Dalton & Co., pattern English Renaissance, center piece with white poinsettia’s, green beads, has green glasses, clear water glasses with frosted pine cones, gold plated dinnerware, sitting on top of buffet is a gorgeous round glass punch bowl with glass cups and glass ladle, along with more Christmas decorations. Too much to mention. You just have to come and see this beautiful home in all her Christmas glory.
The house is also for sale and there will be cards with the realtor’s name and phone number. The home is a brick home with carport, 2 baths, carpeted, but hardwoods in most of the home under the carpet. It has 2 big bedrooms, large living room, foyer, large dining room, big kitchen with lots of cabinets and breakfast room, office, or could be used as a bedroom, large den.
