Listed below are some things that we are still doing. You are not required to wear a mask, but you are required to keep a distance between other people. If you choose to wear one, we do appreciate it. There has been another out break of this horrible disease and I want you to be here to enjoy Life with your family. So let’s be adults and do what we need to do to be safe.
2. We do not require you to wear gloves, but if you feel safer you are welcome to;
3. We will have sanitizer throughout the house for you to use.
4. We will not have a Sign-Up Sheet at this sale. Numbers will be left at front door on a table for you to use to enter the home. You will line up at the front door at 8:30 in the order of your number and the doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Each person must have a number. If you are not in line by 8:30 when I call numbers you will have to go to the back of the line. There will be no numbers on second day.
5. Prices are marked on the items, and the Clerk will be happy to mark your items SOLD and write your invoice up. The Clerk will be in the room or standing close by. There will be a table near the Clerk for you to put items on that you want to buy. When you are ready, the Clerk will write a Invoice up for you to bring to the table to pay for your items. If it is for a large item, tell her what item you want and they will mark your item sold with your last name and write it up for you. You will not be allowed to mark your own items sold. We feel that is one less item you will have to touch. Prices are marked on items and that is the price. We feel that we have studied, cleaned items and priced them fairly, so don’t ask the Clerk if we will take less. This is not a YARD SALE! Also do not be making comments that items are to high or to low. That makes customers feel uneasy. If you think they are to high, then don’t buy them and put the item back where it was. If you have a question, please ask Betty Whatley. (owner) and I will be happy to answer your question.
Please bring someone to help you load, because we do not have anyone to load items. We do have someone to help you load small items, but we expect you to tip him, because he does not get paid. Bring the appropriate tools to take washer and dryer loose and refrigerator and equipment like this.
6. We ARE NOT responsible for any accidents nor are the owners. You enter at your own risk. “Step Downs and Step UPS” will be marked so you will know to take your time.
7. We do have a few bags, but we recommend that you bring your own boxes and bags. When those run out (which they usually do the first hour), then we don’t have anymore.
8. We refuse the right to refuse sale of items to any customer at any time.
9. We will be taking bids on items 100.00 or more on the first day. They can be found on the table where you place your items. You have to bid at least 60% + 1.00 over the marked price. We will call you at 6:00 p.m. if you won the bid.
10. We Do Not do 50% the second day. We do only 40%, 50% if a 3 day sale. No Discount on Jewelry, either day.
11. Due to the large amount of items, value of them, we will have someone in regular clothing watching so be careful before you steal, because you will be arrested. Cameras are also in the home.
12. Do Not Block Anyone’s Drive way or you will be asked to move.
