Outstanding Estate Sale - Linda Shogren Antiques

This is a wonderful estate sale offering beautiful furnishings with a mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings.  The 4 bedroom home will be on the market immediately after the sale.  The last pictures have been posted.

Furniture:  Dining room table, set of 10 dining chairs, sideboard; Hyndai baby grand piano; mahogany secretary; several really nice chests; tables; coffee table; early Pembroke table; Victorian bed, dresser, washstand and armoire; pairs of chairs; pair of Chinoisoire arm chairs; set of 4 dining chairs; gorgeous mahogany dining room table with 2 leaves (measures 9 feet long by 42" wide); pair of nice mahogany chests; mahogany bedroom sets; sofa; pair of French chairs; pair of wing back chairs; very nice painted bedroom set with bed, dresser with mirror and two matching night stands (small chests); a very nice painted table with chairs and a long console table - both of these would be great for the lake or beach house (they are located in the garage and both sets are practically new); lots of miscellaneous chairs and tables, large amount of patio furniture.  

Household and Decorative Items:  There is a large assortment of beautiful lamps (many found in the garage), oriental rugs; local art  as well as well known international artists; pottery; large assortment of women's clothing, shoes, hats and purses; several sets of china including Lenox (service for 12) and an early Japanese set, also service for 12; cloisoinne; Royal Doulton, Lenox, Belleek; Waterford vases and bowls; crystal; decanters; cut glass; Wedgwood; set of French plates and compotes; Dresden; Haviland china; country items including small cabinets, dough bowl; too much to list.

Art:  We have very nice selection of art- from local artists as well as those who are listed artists - many whose works sell for in the thousands.  The art includes Jake Wagnon, Camillia Armstrong, a small print by Barbara Gallagher, Ginnylu Greene (who now lives in Fairhope, AL;  well known Russian Jewish artist Maurice Kish (1895-1987) Caroline Burnett (1877-1950) an American artist who spent most of her artistic life in Paris, France; Anita Westerberg, born in Sweden but currently lives in Mobile, AL.  Her art is currently being shown in the Gallery by the Bay in Mobile; Itzchak Tarkay (1935-2012), born in Hungry but spent most of his life in Israel; Ronald Lewis; Pamela Copeland; Wagstaff; Albert E. Smith; Landon and Forestier.  The art is spread all over the house and one room upstairs is featuring a large collection of Maurice Kish art.  

Everything in the house will be half price on Tuesday with the exception of the art and it will be 20% off the regular price.
