The sale will start at 8:30 am. The sign-up sheet will be posted on the front door. IF YOU SIGN THE SIGN-UP SHEET, YOU MUST STAY ON THE PREMISES. SHOULD YOU SIGN AND LEAVE, YOUR NAME IS REMOVED FROM THE LIST AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-SIGN UPON YOUR RETURN. You will be allowed to use your own sold stickers, but if you mark something sold, it is yours! Removing your sold sticker after marking an item sold is NOT allowed. Once you mark something sold, you are obligated to purchase it. It is your responsibility to have someone help you load your purchases. Our workers cannot help you so please do not ask them. We will have a worker to help you load larger pieces of furniture -BUT THEY WORK FOR TIPS! Please bring your own packing boxes.We have a few but may run out. ALL CHECKS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Driver's License number, home, cell & work number. There will be a $50.00 fee for all returned checks and returned checks will have 5 days to make them good or they are turned over to the Bad Check Division, State of Alabama. We NOW OFFER VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER CARD. All charges/debits are charged a 3% convenience fee (with no charges accepted on items totaling $25.00 or less). We are not responsible for accidents. There are NO EARLY SALES OR PREVIEWS! .ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Bids are accepted the first day on items priced $100.00 or more. Bids must be at least 60% of the asking price. We are not obligated to accept any bid offered if we feel the item being bid on warrants more - so leave a legitimate bid, based on the item you are bidding on. Bids will be opened at the end of the first day and winning bidder called by 7:00 that evening. We are not responsible for accidents. We just got back to working on this estate sale and honestly forgot how really nice this sale is!!!  This sale was originally scheduled for August  21 and 22  but due to the sudden sale of an already contracted sale, we have had to move this sale forward to August 28 and 29.  This is a very nice estate sale in a beautiful garden home off Bell Road.  Just a sample of what will be included:

Today, we found some really interesting things:  early iron tools, old sad irons, cook pots, etc. - as well as old corn shellers  - there are really great yard tools - many older - which means, BETTER!  Power tools, unusual items that you no longer can find in the Big Box stores (hate Moody's Hardware closed!) - so you need to come to see just what all we have!

Furniture:  Living room sofa, pair of Gov. Winthrop chairs; overstuffed chair; wonderful coffee table with matching end table; beautiful mahogany Chippendale chest; mahogany demi lune chest with banding; outstanding lighted curio cabinet; small Duncan Phyffe dining room table, set of 6 chairs, mahogany corner china cabinet, mahogany sideboard; pair of mahogany tall plant columns; French provincial bedroom set including double bed, nightstand, desk, dresser, mahogany 4 post queen size bed, dresser and chest, several nice upholstered chairs, chaise lounge, drum table, den sofa (in as is condition - great mid-century look), end tables; leather recliner; card table; kitchen table with set of 4 chairs; painted 3 drawer chest; nice selection of iron patio furniture, much more.

China, Crystal, Silver:  Several sets of china including Lenox "Monarch" - Butterfly Meadow, service for 6 and service for 8; Gorham china - "Ariana" - 4 place setting with many extras; beautiful Reed and Barton silverplate tea service( 6 pieces) including tray - "Winthrop" pattern;  multiple silverplate serving pieces; several pairs of Waterford champagne flutes; several sets of antique crystal, miscellaneous glassware.
