Terms & Conditions

TAG SALE: For those of you who have never attended an estate/tag sale, here are a few things you need to know.
First, this is an in the home tag sale -in other words - everything in the house is tagged and priced. This is not an auction. When you enter the home, you are free to purchase any and everything in the home at the price shown on each of the items. Every item in the home will be priced. There is no haggling on prices.

SIGNING IN: The sale will start at 8:30 am. A sign up sheet will be posted at the front day the morning of the sale. When you arrive, sign the sheet on the door and stay on the premises until numbers for entry are given out at 8:00 am. If you sign the sign-up sheet - regardless of WHEN you signed it, you are obligated to stay on the premises until the door opens for the sale. If you sign and leave, your name will be removed from the list and you will have to re-sign once you return. No exceptions! Please sign your name only - do not sign for family members or friends who have yet to arrive at the sale.

PAYMENTS ACCEPTED: We accept the following means of payment: Cash, Checks (with two forms of identification), and charge cards. A 3% fee will be added to all purchases made with a charge card. All checks must have the following information: phone numbers of home, cell and place of business, current address and driver's license number. NO other checks will be accepted. There will be a $50.00 check fee for all returned checks - regardless of reason. Those returned checks not made good within a 7 days period from notification, will be turned over to the Attorney Generals office and your check will be posted at all future sales until said check is paid in full.

SOLD STICKERS: You are welcome to use your own sold stickers - even though our workers are there in each of the rooms to mark things for you - but your sold stickers must have you name and phone number on each sticker. If a sold sticker appears on an item and we cannot identity the owners within a few minutes, we will remove the sticker and the item returns to the active sale. Make sure you want to purchase and item because if you mark something sold, it is yours! There will be no removing of sold stickers once they are placed on an item! If you have questions, please see one of the workers.

EARLY SALES/PREVIEW: There are NO early sales and NO previews of the sale. Pictures and descriptions are on the web and should you have a question, please feel free to contact me via the website to answer any questions you might have concerning a particular piece.

OFFERS: This is important! Every item at our sales are full price the first day. Second day of the sale - everything (unless highlighted by the host family to not be reduced) will be half price. In order to give everyone a chance at purchasing a particular piece, we offer a process where the customer is able to offer - on the first day of the sale - his or her price on a particular item via a written offer. Some would call this a bid - but in reality, since we are not an auction company and cannot offer bidding, we are simply giving everyone an opportunity to give us a written offer on items still left for sale. We are not obligated to accept your offer since we ask that you leave a legitimate offer on the item you are interested in. The offers made have to be at least 60% of our initial asking price. All others will be discarded. At the close of the first day of the sale, I will review all offers and call those persons whose offers we have accepted. Rest assured: each and every offer submitted to me is sealed and seen by no one until the end of the day when I pull each to see who made the highest offer on a particular item. Once I determine the highest offer, that person will be contacted no later than 7:00 pm the first night of the sale. Losing offers will not be contacted. Winning offers must present themselves no later than 10:00 am the following to pay and claim their purchase.

HELP IN LOADING: We do NOT have on site a person to help you to load your large items - so if you plan on purchasing a large piece of furniture, please make arrangements to bring someone with you to help you load. Our workers cannot help you. We do have a professional mover who is available to move your items the day after the sale - but he does charge - that amount being determined by the piece as well as destination. .

FINALLY: We are not responsible for accidents- nor is the home owner. Please enter the sale at your own risk - paying attention to the caution signs posted all around the home.

I am open to all inquiries as to price, location, size etc on any particular items in the sale. If you wish further information, please feel free to email me via this website and I will be happy to respond to you. Please note: the last time I will be monitoring this website will be the night before the sale. I will not see or be able to respond to your emails the morning of the sale. I prefer you request additional information through this website and not calling me on my cell phone. Thank you for your understanding!

Friday night - Sept. 20! - Adding the last of pictures for this sale.  There are many more things we haven't photographed - outside - in the tool room/garage area - you just need to come see!!!!

French style chairs; Duncan Phyfe dining table, sideboard, china cabinet and chairs; brass and glass tea cart; brass and glass coffee table; French empire style console table; den sofa and matching chair; pair of recliners; butler tray table; king size bedroom set including bed, dresser, nightstand; two computer tables; day bed (brass); bedroom set including double bed, dresser, nightstand and dressing table; wicker dressing table with mirror and chairs; painted nightstand; pair of Ethan Allen bookcase units; mid century china cabinet; English oak draw table with 4 chairs; mahogany console table; mahogany curio cabinet; pie crust tables; contemporary kitchen table w/4 chairs; sofa; iron and glass table and chairs; maple round table and chairs; mahogany cedar chest; two nice computer desks; much more.

China, Crystal and Silver:  Two sets of china, (Wedgwood "Raspberry Cane"' several sets of crystal, silverplate including trays, bowls, candlesticks; etc.; lots of crystal vases bowls, Fenton, decorative pieces; much more.

Decorative Accessories:   Books (large collection of antique research books); sconces, mirrors, old prints; antique tin coffee grinder; quilts;crocks;  lamps, local art including many Tigjo Price, Mary Virginia Fuller and Eloise Adair Barnes; knife box; oriental porcelains, lots more.

Household:  There is a tremendous amount of household items including kitchen items:  pots and pans, corning, small appliances; canning jars; Christmas decorations; woodworking tools; electric tools; clothing; costume jewelry; bed, bath and table linens; cookbooks; Maytag refrigerator (like new); Maytag washer and dryer; Whirlpool tall chest freezer;second refrigerator - great for garage area;  sewing machine and sewing items; stereos; lots of miscellaneous usable household items.

CAR:  There is a 1994 Lincoln Town Car - Signature Series - considered a collectible/antique due to age.  It hasn't been driven since 2008.  New battery - tires probably need to be replaced:  pristine leather interior, very good body (car is white).  Has one small scape on the side - not large - - original owner - when purchased had a little over 400 miles registering.  Current mileage is around 45,000 miles.  Owner was unable to drive due to eye problems, so the car has sat inside the garage and not driven since 2008.  We are taking bids on the car.  We have replaced the old battery with a new one.  The car idles well - but when you put it  in drive and press the gas, it dies.  The gas is old ( having been in the tank since 2008) - we have put Sea Foam into the tank to try to alleviate any moisture that has accumulated through the years. The engine is sound - and other than the car having sat all of these years, it will be a great car with a little TLC.
