first day will be full price ( NO DISCOUNTS) and second day will be 40% off, except on jewelry (NO DISCOUNTS). We will be taking bids as usual, on items 100.00 or more . You have to bid at least 40% + 1.00. You will be called at 6:00 p.m. if you won the bid.
There will be holding tables for you to place your items on. When you have finished shopping, the employee will write your items up and you will bring your invoice to the check out counter to pay.
For any big items the clerk will write you up and mark your items sold. You will then bring the invoice with you to check out counter.
We will be collecting taxes on all items. If you have a tax number, we need a copy of it. We cannot just accept a number and it has to be an updated copy.
We accept Cash or Credit Card only. No checks. There will be a 3% on Credit Cards.
Prices are marked on the items, and the Clerk will be happy to mark your items SOLD and write your invoice up. The Clerk will be in the room or standing close by. If it is for a large item, tell her what item you want and they will mark your item sold with your last name and write it up for you. You will not be allowed to mark your own . We feel that we have studied, cleaned items and priced them fairly, so don’t ask the Clerk if we will take less. This is not a YARD SALE! Also do not be making comments that items are to high or to low. That makes customers feel uneasy. If you think they are to high, then don’t buy them and put the item back where it was. If you have a question, please ask Betty Whatley. (owner) and I will be happy to answer your question.
Please bring someone to help you load, because we do not have anyone to load items. We do have someone to help you load small items, but we expect you to tip him, because he does not get paid. Bring the appropriate tools to take washer and dryer loose and refrigerator and equipment like this. If you need a large item delivered, I will be happy to give you a name for you to call to deliver your item.
We ARE NOT responsible for any accidents nor are the owners. You enter at your own risk. “Step Downs and Step UPS” will be marked so you will know to take your time. We do have a few bags, but we recommend that you bring your own boxes and bags. When those run out (which they usually do the first hour), then we don’t have anymore.
We have the right to refuse sale of items to any customer at any time.
We will be taking bids on items 100.00 or more on the first day. They can be found on the table where you place your items. You have to bid at least 40 % + 1.00 over the marked price. We will call you at 6:00 p.m. if you won the bid. Items have to be picked up by sale end on Saturday unless other provisions have been made by Betty Whatley (Owner of estate sale).
Due to the large amount of items, value of them, we will have someone in regular clothing watching so be careful before you steal, because you will be arrested. Cameras are also in the home.
Do Not Block Anyone’s Drive way or you will be asked to move.

The family that lived in this home for many years took very good care of their furniture and items. Some of the items in this home will let you know how well they served their Church and their community.
If you are into Mid Century items (which is definitely back in style), unusual collectible items, antiques or just Traditional items this is the sale for you. This sale has some of the most unique items we have seen in a long time as you will see from the pictures. We will begin in the living room with a Midcentury white sofa with brocade fabric. The sofa was not sit on very many times (as you were not allowed in the living room when you were children) and it is in excellent condition, 2 gold fabric chairs that twirl, wood coffee table with glass tops and bottom shelf, 2 matching end tables, curio cabinet with a light with glass shelf’s, beautiful art work, lot of crystal and porcelain items, wall hangings and greenery, coffee table with glass top and bottom shelf, 2 matching end tables with glass and two beautiful beige lamps.
As you come through the front door into the foyer sits a wood table with doors, oval wicker looking mirror over cabinet and some beautiful blue green hand blown glass.
To the left of the living room sits the dining room with a gorgeous mahogany dining table with 6 upholstered chairs, a small mahogany matching China cabinet with glass doors and doors at the bottom, a matching mahogany buffet, with a gold mirror, a gorgeous walnut curio cabinet with glass shelves, carved at the top, a beautiful antique chair with rose colored fabric, wood arms and partly at top, then another small antique oval shaped table, with 2 little shelves (so unusual), the China cabinet, buffet and curio cabinet full of crystal, brass items, crystal candle holders, silver plated trays, hand carved eggs, cut crystal and sitting on the table is a set of beautiful China by Enoch Wedgewood England “Kent” pattern, founded in 1835, several place setting’s , and engraved crystal, gorgeous vase with beautiful white and green flower arrangement, napkins, and Oneida stainless table settings, pink glassware, hanging above mirror and on sides are some beautiful green plates with gold basket insert.
To the left is a large paneled den with brick fireplace. Beautiful picture hung above fireplace with some lovely items on mantle. There are wall bookcases with all kind of collectible items, some of the best first edition books, Christian books, also a three drawer antique oak chest, in perfect condition, collectible dolls, wing back chair, dark green chair that swivels, dark cabinet with record player with tape and c.d. player with speakers sitting on it, 2 floor lamps, beautiful turquoise desk with shelves, factory painted, has shelves on top with glass doors and lots of collectible dolls from all over the world, small oval carved table. Some metal wall hangings.
Going down the hallway, you will find art work all the way down. To the left is a bedroom with one of the most beautiful mahogany bedroom suites I have seen. It has rounded top that includes mattress, box springs, with the small posts at bottom, beautiful matching end table, gorgeous chest with dove tail drawers, antique dresser with carving at top, small mahogany book case, beautiful art work, decorative pillows, lamps, throws. Book case is full. Items on chest, dresser.
On the right is a bedroom with a twin bed with mattress and box springs, a tall chest painted green, a desk with two drawers, end tables, lamps, art work and decorative pillows, bed tray on bed.
On the left is a bedroom with a Queen size bed with mattress and box springs, with a tall chest, with two matching end tables, mahogany bookcase. Lots of art work, bed tray on bed, 2 bookcases with dolls, books and collectibles, a beautiful antique chair with blue upholstery.
There is a full hall bath with towels, wash cloths, thrash can, shower curtain, weight scales, vanity items.
At the end of the hallway is the master bedroom with a Queen bed with mattress and box springs. Bed has beautiful head board in walnut with small posts and wicker look, a beautiful triple dresser with twin mirrors and lots of drawers, tall chest with lots of drawers, cedar chest with cedar inlay, beautiful antique rocker with Vintage material, sewing machine with chair, sewing items, 2 end tables with two antique lamps with gold inlay, has beautiful throw on chair and bed, has bed tray with beautiful oriental cups and saucers with tea pot and sugar and creamer.
In the kitchen there is a freezer/refrigerator combination, has ice maker, in excellent condition, water spout in front, toaster, Pyrex bowls, electric can opener, pots and pans, blender, baking sheets, kitchen utensils, toaster oven, skillets, one cast iron and then a cast iron deep cast iron casserole cooker with heavy lid, Corning ware, crystal serving pieces, 2 sets of fine China one Taylor & Taylor, pattern “Red Castle”, then Royal Dalton, limited pattern “Rosell”, then in the breakfast area is a round table with 4 chairs on rollers with beige upholstery, sitting on the table is a set of Johnson Brothers, made in England, pattern “THE friendly Village”, has several pieces and bowls, platter, rest of it is in red cabinet with shutter like doors, punch bowl with cups, a canvas with rooster, plates with fruit, center piece.
In the laundry room is a LG washer and dryer, like brand new, washer has agitator, large basket in washer and a large capacity basket in dryer. There are several Vintage aprons, drying rack, step stool, cleaning items, small ironing board.
There are a lot of Vintage costume jewelry from the 60’, 70’s, clothes, jackets, coats, nightware, purses, and shoes, gloves.
In the master bath are linens, bath mats, items on bath counter, shower curtain.
On the outside is a metal table and four chairs with umbrella and two large pots. In the small storage unit connected to the house are lots of Christmas decorations, storage containers, cleaning items. In work shop, there are lots of tools such as shovels, rakes, hoes, clippers, screw drivers, wrenches, misc. tools, air compressor, drills, chain saw, tall handmade cabinet (great for farm home, used in kitchen or bath), antique chest (ready for some love and attention).
