“Down Memory Lane Estate Sales” is having a Winter Sale in Prattville
Terms
The sale will begin at 9:00 a.m. There will be a Sign-Up sheet at front door at 8:30a.m. You will be called in by the number that you signed up. You do not have to stay on property, but must be in line at 8:30. If you are not there we will go to next person on list. The second day of sale, it will start at 8:30 a.m.
We will be accepting CHECKS,CREDIT CARDS, AND CASH. There is a 3% charge on Credit Cards. If you write a check we will need your driver's license, DOB, correct phone number (home and cell), correct address. We will not accept a check that does not have your information on it before you get to the check out desk. Have all that information on your check and your driver's license handy. If you write a bad check you will be charged $50.00 for the check, plus the amount of check, bank charges, so think before you write. We ARE NOT responsible for any accidents or neither is the home owner. We will have someone there to mark your items sold and to write you up before checking out. You enter at your own risk, and in doing this, we have no liability for injury or damage to you or any items on you. No children under the age of 13 admitted due to the collectible glassware and collectible items. If anything is broken you will be charged the full price of item. For insurance purposes, staff members are not able to carry heavy/large items for you. If someone helps you load your small items, I would tell you it would be nice to tip them. You will be responsible for loading them and bring your boxes and wrapping, tools, etc. for getting your items loaded. If you need someone to load your items and to haul them, I will have a man's name for you if you are interested. He will charge you accordingly. There will be no negotiating on the items. We feel we have studied and took into effect the date and condition of items and feel that they are marked accurately. Some of the items might seem high to you, but research have been done on them and we feel that they are priced accordingly. Remember this is not a YARD SALE. If you are looking for Yard Sale prices, I am sure there are some in the area. We want you to have fun and get items that you appreciate and want. We have worked hard to make sure all items are clean and in good shape. Please DO NOT block anyone's drive-way, we will have your vehicle towed if you do. Bids will be taken on items the the first day of sale, on $100.00 or more. You have to bid at least 60% plus 1.00 over the total amount of item. You will be called at 6:00 p.m. that night if you won the bid. If you win the bid, you will be required to purchase item. If you don’t answer when we call, we will leave you a message so check your voice mail. Items must be picked up by 8:30 the morning of last day of sale, or they will go back on floor to purchase. Items will be marked 40% off last day of sale. Regular prices will be charged until the last day of sale. Items bought on Friday can be picked up at end of sale or the next morning. We have checked the items to the best of our ability. It is your job to check before buying. Once bought or you have a item on bid, there will be no refunds for the items. If you decide that you don't want the item you bid on, you will be charged 35% of item, because someone else could have bought it. If we sell out the first day we will have a sign on the front door stating that. If you would like to be added to our email list, please let check-out know. There will be a form there for you to put your email address. We will have some boxes and paper, but I suggest that you bring your own paper and boxes. When it runs out that will be all that we have. If anyone is caught stealing, you will be prosecuted, so think before you take something that does not belong to you. We ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS NOR ARE THE OWNERS.
