“Down Memory Lane Estate Sales”:is having a great Fall Estate Sale in Prattville, Al

Listed below are some things that we are doing at our sales as asked for by our Governor and our Mayor. We want to make it as much fun as usual and safe as we can.
1. No children will be allowed at this estate sale;
2. You will be required to wear masks, if you don’t have one, you will not be allowed in sale;
3. We do not require you to wear gloves, but if you feel safer you are welcome to;
4. We will have sanitizer throughout the house for you to use.
5. We will not have a Sign-Up Sheet at this sale. Numbers will be left at front door on a table for you to use to enter the home. You will sign up at the front door in the order of your number and the doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Each person must have a number. If you are not in line by 8:50 when I call numbers you will have to go to the back of the line.
6. We will not be taking checks at this sale, only CREDIT CARDS and CASH. There will be a 3% charge on your Credit Card; NO CHECkS!
7. Prices are marked on the items, and the Clerk will be happy to mark your items SOLD and write your invoice up. The Clerk will be in the room or standing close by. Tell her what item you want and they mark your item sold with your last name and write it up for you. You will not be allowed to mark your own items sold. We feel that is one less item you will have to touch. Prices will not be negotiated on items the first day. We feel that we have studied, cleaned items and priced them fairly, so don’t ask the Clerk if we will take less. This is not a YARD SALE! Also do not be making comments that items are to high or to low with customers, because it makes people feel uneasy. Keep those comments to yourself and if you feel they are to high, just don’t buy them. The second day of sale, items will be marked 40% off. We will be taking written bids on items that are marked $100.00 or over on the first day. You will be called by 6:00 p.m. if you won the bid. You must bid at least 60% of price on item +1.00. If you leave a bid on an item you are expected to take it, if you left a bid and change your mind, you will be charged 35% of the price of item or if you do not pick item up by 9:00 a.m., item will be put up for sale. So check item and make sure that you want that item. It keeps someone else from getting item if you do that. You must have item picked up by 8:30 the next day unless you have made other arrangements with the owner, Betty Whatley;
8. We DO NOT have anyone to load your car or help you load items, because all personnel will be busy working with other customers, and insurance does not allow it. We will have a person’s name that we will be happy to give you if you need someone to deliver or load your items. The price for that will be worked out between you and the driver.
9. We ARE NOT responsible for any accidents nor are the owners. You enter at your own risk. “Step Downs and Step UPS” will be marked so you will know to take your time.
10. We do have a few bags and boxes, but we recommend that you bring your own boxes and bags. When those run out (which they usually do the first hour), then we don’t have anymore. The second day there will not be any.
11. We refuse the right to refuse sale of items to any customer at any time.
