There will be holding tables for you to place your items on. When you have finished shopping, the employee will write your items up and you will bring your invoice to the check out counter to pay.
For any big items the clerk will write you up and mark your items sold. You will then bring the invoice with you to check out counter.
We will be collecting taxes on all items. If you have a tax number, we need a copy of it. We cannot just accept a number and it has to be an updated copy.
Numbers will be put out by front door at 8:30 a.m. and the door will be opened at 9:00 for you to enter. The second day of sale we will not have numbers. The door will be opened at 9:00 a.m.
Prices are marked on the items, and the Clerk will be happy to mark your items SOLD and write your invoice up. The Clerk will be in the room or standing close by. If it is for a large item, tell her what item you want and they will mark your item sold with your last name and write it up for you. You will not be allowed to mark your own . We feel that we have studied, cleaned items and priced them fairly, so don’t ask the Clerk if we will take less. This is not a YARD SALE! Also do not be making comments that items are to high or to low. That makes customers feel uneasy. If you think they are to high, then don’t buy them and put the item back where it was. If you have a question, please ask Betty Whatley. (owner) and I will be happy to answer your question.
Please bring someone to help you load, because we do not have anyone to load items. We do have someone to help you load small items, but we expect you to tip him, because he does not get paid. Bring the appropriate tools to take washer and dryer loose and refrigerator and equipment like this. If you need a large item delivered, I will be happy to give you a name for you to call to deliver your item.
We ARE NOT responsible for any accidents nor are the owners. You enter at your own risk. “Step Downs and Step UPS” will be marked so you will know to take your time. We do have a few bags, but we recommend that you bring your own boxes and bags. When those run out (which they usually do the first hour), then we don’t have anymore.
We have the right to refuse sale of items to any customer at any time.
Items have to be picked up by sale end on Saturday, unless other provisions have been made by Betty Whatley (Owner of estate sale).
Due to the large amount of items, value of them, we will have someone in regular clothing watching so be careful before you steal, because you will be arrested. Cameras are also in the home.
Do Not Block Anyone’s Drive or Mailbox , or you will be asked to move or either towed.
We are not Responsible for any accidents. You enter at your own risk.
We take bids on items 100.00 or more. You must bid 60% of full price + 1.00. The second day of sale items will be marked 40% off, except jewelry it will be full price.

This is a PRESALE/ESTATE SALE, followed by the Estate Sale. The dates for the Presale will be held on: Monday, August 3, 2026 from: 9:30 A.M until 12:30 P.M.
Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from: 9:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.
Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from: 9:30 A.M until: 11:30 A.M.
These dates and times will be by appointment only!
The Estate Sale will follow Friday, August 7th from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
Saturday, August 8th from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
Rules for the estate sale will be as usual. Numbers out at 8:30 and doors open at 9:00. Full price first day and 40% off the second day except jewelry. We also take bids on items the first day only, on items marked 100.00 and above. The house will be for sale also. Information on the house will be available with Realtor, at sale.
The house was built in 1987 by the original owners. This was a loving home for 39 years to a family of three. Glenn is a retired Air Force Veteran who served two terms in Vietnam and was a SafeSide Security Ranger. Glenn also loved and had great pleasure from his Mustang and enjoyed showing it in shows. Barbara was a housewife and mother who loved life, her family and entertaining her friends. She expressed this love through her many collections, her talent for many hobbies she did, as you will see through out at this great sale. Both Glenn and their daughter, Stacy, fondly carry her memories with them. Me and my staff are honored to be able to conduct the sale for Glenn and his daughter, since he gave us so much and protected us through his military service.
There is so much to see and mention in this sale, so I will be sharing just a few of them. You will see from the pictures what I mean, as I will be putting some prices on the bigger items. All the items will be for sale at the Presale and also Estate Sale. I will go in before the Estate Sale and mark items that sold at Presale.
There are 2 beautiful Queen size beds with mattresses and box springs, black Dining room table with 6 chairs, black China cabinet with glass shelves, brown leather recliner, brown leather matching couch that reclines, unusual and beautiful coffee table with metal legs, wood top with blue lines running through it (looks like a River), a gorgeous 4 piece cabinet unit (that can be taken apart in sections, if you wanted to use them in different places in your home) with lots of shelves, doors and is lighted, a bambo round chair that twirls, oak entertainment center with doors and shelves; also has shelves on top, antique oak dresser with mirror (excellent condition), 2 benches and one with 2 seats and wood, 2 walnut end tables, a chest with several drawers, a gorgeous wardrobe from England, solid oak, has 3 doors with center one with glass door and shelves, other two have hanging rods and space at bottom, must see to see the beauty, a tall mahogany jewelry box, a solid oak role top desk with several drawers, letter holders, matching oak swivel desk chair goes with it, there are two more great desk chairs on rollers, shredder, lots of plastic containers, Cricket machine and supplies, quilting tops, cross stitching pictures and designs, a Brother portable sewing machine, any materials and patterns you need to do scrap booking, another Kenmore portable sewing machine, some of the most beautiful hand made decoupage purses ( coming back in style), and make great decorations, lots of clothes, women and men, shoes, purses, coats, totes, evening wear, solid oak hall tree with hooks and plenty of storage, mirrors, outdoor furniture, black metal table with 4 chairs that bounce, bamboo round chair that twirls in stand, canvas glider, metal end tables, tall metal leg table with glass top, RV covers, white round table with 2 seats made to it, so many folding chairs, all sizes with shelf and cup holder, metal frame with 2 canvas long chairs built into it, bird houses, statues, flower pots, coolers, car/dog carriers, books, lots of great cook books, stepping stones, child’s solid wood table with chair, school desk with seat that let’s down, school desk that you sit in (like in 3rd grade) with shelf under bottom, painted black and white, swimming floats, compressor, water sprinklers, gardening gloves and tools, squirrel trap, wreaths, fall, spring and Christmas, black bookcase with several shelves, 2 metal filing cabinet, one 2 drawer, other 4 drawer, 2 white Adirondack chairs with cushions, lanterns, outdoor carpet, unusual rock from Arkansas that has holes in them for planting plants, metal frame for hamlet, large umbrella on metal stand that tilts over a table, boat paddle, lots of tools in large tool box, yard tools, yard chemicals. One is 12x24 and the other one is 11 1/2 x8. Both are wired for electricity.
As I mentioned there is just too much to mention or show, so the best thing to do is make an appointment for the Presale or come to the estate sale. It is a beautiful, well kept with beautiful yards and great community. It is close to Prattville High School. If you like to be out, but close to town and everything this is the house for you. The kitchen and master bath have been completely remodeled and updated with granite countertops, beautiful large tile shower with glass doors, just beautiful. As I said there will be cards for the realtor handling the sale.
