     Items in this sale range from a collection of thimbles to a mule drawn road scraper and part of a petrified log uncovered in a strip mine in Oneonta.  Also for sale will be a Behning & Diehl square grand piano made in 1881;  an ornate oak Adler pump parlor organ;  a Wurlitzer 530 Funmaker custom organ;  two spinning wheels;  two old post office sorting cases (one from Gantt's Quarry);  a wooden phone booth from the old Mac & Teds building in Sylacauga;  a telephone operator's switchboard;  two oak map cases from the State Highway Department (Ala.) dated 1906 and 1907;  three oak fireplace mantles, an oak buffet and a large oak ice box;  a cast iron wood-burning kitchen stove, cast iron heaters, and a cast iron coal burning water heater;  oak crank type wall phones;  three grandfather clocks;  turn-of-the-century beds, dressers, vanities, secretaries, and display cases;   a nice small roll-top desk;  a variety of early Aladdin lamps, hurricane lamps, and standing lamps;  many old quilts, purses, and dolls;  two cast iron bathtubs;  a large collection of ceramic salt & pepper shakers;  a spool cabinet;  kitchen collectibles including cast iron muffin pans, skillets and pots;  old granite ware;  crocks and pitchers;  an unbelievable collection of ceramic pieces;  hundreds of like-new collector-type books on all sorts topics; sewing collectibles including Victorian era chatelaines, yards and yards of vintage and antique lace, and beautiful old brooches and costume jewelry;  old bottles and jars;  and the aforementioned road scraper, as well as a nice John Deere side mower and a mule drawn hay rake. Sign-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, the sale starts at 10:00.
