This beautiful Tudor English home was designed by NEA's first architect, Elmer Stuck, for his family in 1932. It has not been emptied since that time. After he and Ruth Jane Diamante Stuck passed away, their daughter, Brenda, and her family moved in. Brenda Stuck married Carl Heringer, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Heringer Sr. in 1954.  Being from two prominent Jonesboro families, the home has been the location of many parties, holidays, and organization events. The home is overflowing with generations of serving pieces, holiday decorations, and art. Mrs. Stuck was an artist and her descendants carried her love of art further. The basement is a pottery studio and there is an art room upstairs full of Brenda's watercolors. Jane Frier Hankins, the granddaughter of Mrs. Stuck, is famous for her ceramic characters and drawings, many of which are in the home. Brenda honored other artists by purchasing their art as well. The home is full of books; art, cultural history, religion, political, and pleasure.
