A painted Trophy Figure 8 style baseball from a 1908 Univ of Vermont vs. Tufts Univ. baseball game. This ball came from a collection of 7 balls from University of Vermont wins. This particular ball was kept as a trophy ball from Vermont's 4-1 over Tufts University. The practice of painting the game ball with the score and date was not uncommon during this era. Ball is presented in a protective acrylic cover.

A framed black and white political cartoon titled "A Cable Car Named Desire" which features a San Francisco cable car with flags advertising the GOP Convention and "Victory in '56" and an elephant passenger. Signature in the lower right corner appears to be "Yoes". Consigner states that this item is original comic art used for newspaper publication and was part of the personal collection of James Copley. James Copley was a journalist and newspaper publisher. He published the San Diego Union The San Diego Union-Tribune and the San Diego Evening Tribune from 1947 until his death in 1973, and was President of the Inter American Press Association (1969 - 1970). Each record features a song / nursery rhyme on one side and a beautiful picture pertaining to the nursery rhyme on the other side. The album originally held six records. This album contains the following four records:

- #202 "Sing a Song of Sixpence" sung by Uncle Ernest.

A vintage British barometer and thermometer mounted to a banjo shaped wooden display. Manufactured by the Wilson Company. Barometer has printed settings for "storm, rain, change, fair, very dry" and explains that the barometric pressure falls for wet or more wind and rises for dry or less wind. The thermometer reads in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade. Appears to be in working condition. Measures approximately 26" long.

A black and white etching or engraving from an original painting by artist Carlo Dolci. Features a religious scene which appears to be Jesus kneeling before an angel with a wooden cross. The picture is captioned, "A Sua Eccellenra". The bottom right corner reads, "Giov Rivera, Inc. 1824". The edges of the paper are torn and the paper has some foxing and yellowing from age. Consigner states that this is a very rare piece. Measures 19" x 14".

Vintage "Kurkha" Knife with Elaborate Sheath
This lot is a vintage curved blade knife and elaborately decorated sheath. One side of the knife blade is etched with a dragon figure and the other side has five different symbols etched into it. The sheath has magnificent silver color filigree style embellishments which feature images of peacocks, an elephant and a butterfly. A small knife located in the back of the sheath is used to sharpen and maintain the blade. The Kurkha knife measures approximately 14" from tip to tip. The small knife measures 4" long.
