This last Friday of March, on the 31st, Fresh Start Estate Sale is back in Fountain Hills! We just couldn't stay away from this amazing community and superb views of the valley! This time we'll be presenting you a unique collectibles and house filled with one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, sculptures and art. We'll even have some beautiful mid-century pieces, such as a gorgeous and large midcentury brutalist sculpture of birds "In flight" signed by Curtis Jere. Some of the art pieces, and prints date to 1960s and 1950s as well. One of the feature pieces here will also be Christian Dior Men's leather gloves from 1970s, followed by some Haute Couture Parisian handkerchiefs - also vintage. We have two large Native American pots, that are over 50 years old, and will be available for sale. We also have a signed Navajo kachina, and plenty of Kokopelli sculptures, statues, etc. The art doesn't stop inside as the outside patio is quite filled with exquisite metal art in form of metal lizards, cement pagodas, concrete frogs and hippos, among other metal or stone/concrete creatures of Southwest. We also have a great like new wicker set for sale here - with 2 club chairs and side wicker table with like new cushions. There is also a dining metal and glass top table for patio available as well.
The kitchen has a great number of Le Creuset cast iron enameled vintage pans for sale. We'll also have a like new very large All-Clad pan for sale here, among a ceiling-hanging pots and pan rack, Calphalon pots, Port Meiron baking ceramic dishes, Crate & Barrell plates, Kitchenaid Heavy Duty standing mixer, brand new Kitchenaid handheld mixer, vintage Pyrex, Corning Ware and Pampered Chef, delightful wrought iron swivel bar stools also in like new condition, and so much more!
As mentioned, the furniture of this charming home is unique, as we'll be presenting a quality Armoire in the Master Bedroom - hacienda style, handmade and very heavy. The same technique hacienda style nightstand will be available for sale too. The cowhide chairs present in the office as well as the Family room are something you don't see very often either. We have a total of 3 of those, plus the ottoman. This home also has couple of different style bedroom sets for sale - one King and one Queen size. The King bed is a post bed - quite grand in the Master, and the Queen bed is Asian inspired, similar to matching nightstands, oversized dresser with mirror, chest of drawers, and another armoire. The living room furniture is very presentable as well - with cloth sectional, handcarved coffee table with glass top, Family room leather 3-cushion sofa, a delightful dining table with wrought iron base and tufted dining chairs, as well as numerous accent pieces that are just very original - such as the stone top end table placed by the buffet, with iron base shaped into wine rack...
The closet is filled with some amazing items, such as brand new Sports t-shirts, golf polos, designer sport jackets, hand-knitted sweaters, wool and Cashmere sweaters, among other items. Most clothing is for men, although we do have a few women's clothing too. The men's sizes consist mostly of XL and XXL, while women's are medium and large. Many of the shoes are from England or Italy, or are famous brands such as Bally's or Justin Cowboy boots. We'll also have a great selection of designer ties for sale here...
Some of the most interesting collectibles here are among the owl collection on the mantel in Family room, where you'll be able to find a vintage glass Viking Owl, a Mats Jonasson vintage signed Owl paperweight, a Lenox Owl pair, a signed Wood Owl Sculpture from 1980s, and Onyx and Calcite owl sculpture, plus other stone, wood and ceramic owl sculptures - all in great condition.
There are some truly vintage and extraordinary items to get here only this weekend - only Friday and Saturday! Please note that almost all plants and planters will be available for sale too, including cacti plants up front.
