Arizona Family Estate Sales
Description & Details
This is a sale you do not want to miss!! This home is absolutely packed with goodies for you all! The sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, 8am-1pm, June 1st and 2nd in the area of 68th St & Camelback. This is the estate of a fabulous and interesting woman who lived in this home since 1959.
This is a BIG sale, TOTALLY packed, and you are going to have a GOOD TIME shopping at this one! We have lots of pictures taken, but we will be adding LOTS more as we still have a lot of setting up to do. There is not much space to set up a check-out at this house, so there will be NO HOLDING TABLE. Sorry about that folks. Also, please be patient at the check-out as it may be slower than usual due to the lack of space. As always, we will have paper and SOME boxes available so that you can pack your own breakables after purchase.
A quick word regarding the HUGE amount of clothing and fabric at this sale. We did our best to sort, fold and hang the clothes but we have simply run out of hangers, racks, table space and time. We would need a whole second house to show off all those clothes! SO...you guys are going to have to do some digging. ;) There are piles, barrels and bags of clothes, as well as racks that have been hung in the shed for years and years, all for your treasure-hunting fun. BE AWARE that a lot of the clothing items have pins in them. This person sewed a lot of clothes and was preparing to make alterations on many other items and MANY items have straight pins. There is no way we can remove them all so PLEASE USE CAUTION when looking through the clothing. (I've been stuck about a million times already.)
***PLEASE note that there are a LOT of step-up/step-down areas, crowded rooms, tight squeezes and narrow pass-throughs in this house. It is NOT a good sale to bring children, strollers, or anyone with handicapped needs. (It would be very difficult to get around with a walker/cane.) TONS of merchandise, tables and furniture are going to be set up in the backyard, which is dirt with MANY “watch your step” areas. Don’t wear your best shoes or they’re gonna get dirty! Bring your sunblock and a bottle of water…you’re going to want to browse for a long time. Also, there is a large trash pile in the corner of the backyard. We know how VERY TEMPTING it can be to want to dig around in there for some missed treasures. I want to assure you there is NOTHING in there you want. It is full of broken glass and other dangerous items and we ask that you DO NOT attempt to dig through the trash. Trust me, we don’t throw away ANYTHING that can be salvaged. (Anyone tearing apart the trash pile will be asked to leave.)
There is a massive amount of stuff at this sale….here is just a taste.
