Memory Lane Estate Sale starts TUESDAY Aug 11

This week's sale has so much stuff in it that we've been setting it up for 2+ weeks, and we're starting it on a Tuesday so we have enough time to sell everything. The homeowner was a longtime resident of Scottsdale and moved to Sun City to care for a loved one.  In the meantime, she apparently bought everything she saw because the house is packed with all sorts of stuff that has never been opened.  And since her name was Rose, you'll find many rose-hued items... the home would look quite different if her name was Olive, Hazel or Blue Ivy :)  Most everything is in excellent (or new) condition because Rose covered EVERYTHING with protective covers.  So there you have it. 

We're open 8am-2pm TUESDAY-Friday, August 11th-14th at 10753 West Peoria Avenue in Sun City. We may be open a fifth day on Saturday the 15th if necessary. Again, WE'RE STARTING THE SALE ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 11TH. 

NOTEWORTHY ITEMS:

• Dyson DC-10 Animal Vacuum (like-new) and a new-in-box (NIB) Rowenta Professional Iron DX8800. There's also a Rowenta German Titan Plus Iron #DE-92, and both Rowenta irons work.  
• Kenmore upright freezer #564 in white and a nice Kenmore stainless & brown metal grill.
• J. Delgarito sterling bolo tie with turquoise and animal claw insets.
• Cleo Teissedre signed hand-painted clay Storytellers figurines and some other small, unique figurines. 
• NEW STUFF IN BOXES/PACKAGING WITH TAGS (great for resale): kitchen appliances & kitchenware, linens, nice clothing, 50+ pair of ladies' shoes in sizes 7-7.5, cleaning supplies & toiletries.

• Master BR: Stanley "European Alliance" custom-made bedroom furniture imported from Italy. Lacquer double dresser w/ 2 detached mirrors; armoire w/ shelves & drawers, Queen-size bedframe, and 2 nightstands. There's a coordinating plant stand w/ lower glass shelf and a white swivel dressing mirror. Simmons BeautyRest Windsor pillowtop Queen mattress. 
• Guest BR furniture:  Lexington light wood 9-drawer double dresser w/ mirror; armoire/highboy with 8 drawers & oval mirror front; two 3-drawer nightstands; coordinating Queen headboard w/ spindles; Sealy Comfort Series Queen mattress & spring. 

LIVING ROOM FURNITURE:

• Broyhill off-white damask sofa (it's in the 1st bedroom on your left, by the books and CDs/DVDs). 
• Bassett living room furniture purchased as a matching set (we'll have it all priced separately): floral sofa w/ white-washed rattan trim; rattan-framed Papasan chair; rattan-framed coffee table & 2 matching end tables.
• Light wood entry display cabinet/buffet with glass door & display light. Coordinating mirror with rattan trim frame hangs above it. 
• Leopard print Parsons chair and a pink tufted slipper chair with ruffled skirt.
• Floral bench w/ gold legs. It had a clear vinyl protective cover over it, but we took it off and put it behind the bench.  
• Vanity stool and a neat wood collapsible footrest on castors. 
• 36"h mirrored pedestal, plaster pedestal, small pedestal light wood table, 2 glass & brass plant stands.
• 4 white laminate garage cabinets, 2 light wood CD/DVD bookshelves, and a light wood TV/Microwave cart with cabinet doors.

• Beveled glass-top dining room table w/ plaster base and 4 Parsons chairs. Chairs have slip covers, so we've shown 2 chairs with the slipcovers and 2 without.

• Octagonal wood-top dinette w/ 1 leaf and 4 white metal chairs on castors. Seat cushions were replaced one year ago at a cost of $100 for each chair.

Mink cape, New Black Mountain jacket, Pendleton wool-blend jackets, 3- and 4-piece outfits, 50+ pair of elastic band pants by Alfred Dunner. 
• Ladies' shoes in sizes 7 and 7.5 (most have never been worn). Brands include Sofft, Soft Spots, Italian Shoemakers, Nine West, Impo, Life Stride, Adrienne Vitadini, Ecco, Dana Buchman, Steve Madden, Karen Scott, Sketchers and Mudd.  They're trendy, classic, comfortable and cute.

• Men's clothing and shoes: Shirts sizes 16.5-17 by Christian Dior, Arrow, David Taylor, Dockers. Wranglers & Levi's in 38x30 and 38x29. Polo shirts size L by Covington & David Taylor. 3 Large Chicago Bulls sweatshirts and one Large Chicago Bears sweatshirt. Florsheim shoes in size 10.
• Men's coats: a really nice London Fog zipper-lined poly/cotton coat in light tan and a nice Pendleton wool-blend jacket with leather sleeves in size XL. 
• A lot of nice linens and bedding for King, California King and Queen beds (many are new in packaging); blankets, nice decorative pillows, a closet full of towels/towel sets, a quilt, etc.
• Hand-made crocheted & embroidered tablecloths and runners, doilies, afghans.    
• Sony CD/cassette/stereo boombox #CFD-8, Panasonic Power Blaster CD/Cassette player, DVDs, many CDs (country western, Johnny Cash & oldies), cassettes, 33s & 45s (records).

• 4-panel painting by Anderson above the queen bed in the MBR. 
• A whole lot of home decor.

• ​Bissel Powerglide Deluxe Lift-Off Pet Vacuum with Swivel Steering, Dyson vacuum listed above, Swiffer products, and an approximate guess of hundreds of cleaning supplies (many unopened). 
• MANY wind chimes, garden statues, 3 small (12"-16") fountains, and wrought iron patio wall decor.
• Miscellaneous power and hand tools, Mag-Lite 13" flashlight, socket sets, garden supplies and yard tools.

DIRECTIONS from 99th & Bell: Go south on 99th Avenue for 4 miles til you reach Peoria Avenue. Take a right (west) onto Peoria. Go through the stoplight at 107th Ave. Take the first LEFT onto 108th Avenue and park there. We're at 10753 West Peoria Ave but you can't park on Peoria. We're the 2nd condo off of 108th Ave. We'll have our blue & white Memory Lane sign out in the front yard. 

DIRECTIONS from Sun City West: Go Southeast on Grand Avenue to 107th Avenue. Take a right (south) onto 107th. Take a right onto Peoria Avenue then take a quick left onto 108th Ave. Park on 108th because you can't park on Peoria Ave. We're the 2nd condo off of 108th Ave. Address is 10753 West Peoria Ave. We'll have our blue & white Memory Lane sign out in the front yard.

As always, we don't  allow "pre-sales" or previews, so everything listed in this ad will be available for sale at 8am the first day of the sale. From there on out, it's first-come/first-serve so try to get to the sale as early as possible if you have your heart set on something. ​
