This week's sale is Tuesday-Friday, September 15th-18th at 18214 North 99th Drive in Sun City. We're open 8am-2pm, and directions are at the bottom of the page. This sale is a DOOZIE, so we may have to be open a 5th day as well (Saturday the 19th). It's a multi-generation family sale, so there's stuff from the 1860's to new-in-box. Just please come and buy something...we're swamped with stuff!
NOTEWORTHY ITEMS:
- OLD stuff (more details below): furniture; books, children's books & magazines; jewelry; linens & clothing; musical instruments; toys; erector set; trains and trucks (Tonka); Finnish wood toys by Creative Play; games/game boards and puzzles; Heckel & Jeckel bedspread; Boy Scout stuff; and a whole lot more.
- Treasures from the jewelry boxes: 18k/14k/10k rings; platinum ring setting with a loose diamond; sterling Du Jay brooch; sterling bracelets; 14k Alaskan totem pendant; sterling candlesticks; lots of costume jewelry too. All gold and sterling will be off-site until Tuesday 7:45am.
- Royal Canadian Air Force items: patches; medals; Pratt & Whitney sterling pins.
- Pottery/Ceramics: 10+ pieces of Redwing Bobcat; rare Lisa Larson Gustavsberg cats; Delft light fixtures; and more more more.
- Kenmore freezer (21w x 25d x 46h). 7.5 cf.
- NEW-IN-BOX: Chicago Cutlery Insignia Steel 12-piece knife set, Christofle Reticulated Fish, Lionel Train Engine, Randy Johnson and Curt Shilling Bobbleheads.
- 1906 Sears Roebuck mantle clock, 1 cuckoo clock purchased from Switzerland, a German cuckoo clock (as is), and some other neat clocks.
- Daisy Millenium Edition Red Rider BB gun.
- Camping items: Inflatable Sevylor Outback 240 3-person boat (91"x51"); 2 tents; lots of fishing equipment.
- 7 Pacheco signed and numbered Lithographs with Certificates of Authenticity, including "The Long Wait" of Muhammed Ali. Most were purchased for $300 each in the 70's.
FURNITURE:
- Two wood folding theatre benches/seats from the 1920's. They were used in churches in the 1960's.
- Conant Ball double dresser with detached mirror and 4 nightstands/end tables.
- Two Midcentury modern double-sided benches with cushions. Put your books on one side and hide your booze on the side that backs up to the wall.
- Wood-framed love seat with matching club chair. Cushions are primarily blue.
- 2 maple Ethan Allen end tables (one is double drop-side) and a small oak coffee table.
- Dining room table with 3/4" glass top. 60 x 30 x 30h.
- Indiana Desk Company wood desk, a black executive office chair, and a 5-drawer massive filing cabinet (42w x 18d x 63h).
- A wood-framed vintage dressing mirror from Bergdorf Goodmans' dressing rooms, an antique wood plank trunk, and a large wood wine rack (26w x 6'h).
- Red card table w/ 2 red metal folding chairs.
- Black cast iron Singer sewing machine base with a Nicci sewing machine.
PATIO:
- Uni-Flame grill w/ propane tank and an outdoor firepit (that's in a box in the garage).
- Sage green metal patio table and 4 chairs w/ strappings, a white metal patio table w/ 4 chairs, and miscellaneous aluminum-frame chairs.

- 1860 Hornbraker Melodia reed pump organ & stool. Legs detach so it can close up box-size. Very good condition.
- Early 1900's handmade hammered Dulcimer and a Virginia Harp.
- Old brass horns: 1 bugle; 1 Boy Scout bugle and 2 trumpets.
PRETTY SERVINGWARE & HOME DECOR:
- Pre-1902 Doulton large floral pedestal vase; Austrian hand-painted 24" fish platter with 11 serving 8" plates by Empire China; Lenox "Princess" with cream soup bowls; Royal Worcester Snow Platinum partial set; Wedgwood moonstone decanter; Heisey veggie dish.
- A large pretty silverplate punchbowl set; many serving pieces.
- Anri wood carvings, and a brass set of Bradley & Hubbard sailboat bookends.
- FB Rogers silverplate flatware with carrying case; Wostenholm carving set with case; Carvel 6-piece steak knive set; a wood plaque with vintage copper utensils.
CLOTHING, LINENS & SEWING:
- 1933 4-piece Christening set (dress, coat, slip & hat); 1954 wedding dress; mink-collared sweater; ladies' clothing sizes S-L. 1 ladies' London Fog white jacket.
- 5 men's London Fog coats/jackets in XL; men's suit and tux; 3 snow/ski suits and pants (size 44/L/XL).
- Handmade 1940's crocheted King-size bedspread; 2 Klassbol Swedish linens; vintage cartoon character bedspread; blankets, tablecloths & sheets.
- 2 tapestries (pre-1940) and a 1960's Peruvian weaving.
- 2 Decorator's fabrics, 1950's silk teal fabric purchased in Hong Kong, remnants and sewing notions.
BOOKS & OFFICE:
- HP PSC 500 printer/scanner/copier with additional ink cartridges (ink unopened), 2 shredders, and office supplies.
- Wide variety of books (displayed in master bedroom and on the patio). DIRECTIONS from 99th & Bell: Go north on 99th Avenue til you reach Del Webb/Lindgren. Take a left (west) onto Del Webb and then take a quick right onto 99th Drive. We're down on the left at 18214 North 99th Drive.
SIGNS: We'll have our blue & white Memory Lane road signs guiding you to the sale. You'll find them at 99th Avenue & Bell, 99th Ave & Union Hills, 99th Ave & Del Webb/Lindgren; Del Webb & 99th Drive.
As always, we don't allow "pre-sales" or previews, so everything listed in this ad will be available for sale at 8am the first day of the sale. From there on out, it's first-come/first-serve so try to get to the sale as early as possible if you have your heart set on something.
