FURNITURE: This home is filled with beautiful and unique antique and reproduction furniture. Three pieces purchased from the famous Tucson “Z” (Zellweger) Mansion – featuring intricately carved clawed feet and Griffin details in the arms; there are two reproduction sofas – both recently reupholstered; a very nice Pompeian–style chair; a gorgeous carved sofa table and several deeply-carved marble-top side and coffee tables; a Duncan Phyfe dining table with five leaves and pads; 8 fabulous antique chairs with needlepoint seats; Dexter sideboard with two matching Morganton corner china cabinets; antique Jenny Lind-style twin bed; antique vanity; antique barrister bookcase with original strapping (this is a rough piece that needs work); art-deco style bureau; curio cabinet; stunning large carved-wood mirror; two mid-century modern leather recliners; glass-top side tables and coffee tables; several occasional chairs; small oak computer desk; several Karastan wool rugs - including one room size 10 x 14 rug; three-piece bookcase/desk combination…and so many other lovely pieces.
CLOCKS: This home features several wonderful clocks. There is an 1837 Daniel Pratt wood-gear clock in very good cosmetic condition – a great project clock! A beautiful deeply-carved antique clock; several unique reproduction clocks – including a wonderful Seth Thomas style “violin” clock. There is a lovely TREND grandfather clock; an antique Franz Hermle Art Deco mantle clock; a VERY RARE Otto Gerdau Ship’s Clock and Aneroid Barometer; and several antique to vintage project clocks that can be restored or used for parts.
GLASSWARE: So much to see!
