Save the date for Catherine’s Estates Jewelry, Native American, and Art sale! Fri/Sat. August 9 & 10 at a home in the sunny Catalina Foothills.  Address will be on web & paper sale day, signs will be out.  This is a big bling event filled with several thousands of flashy baubles and fine jewelry, all from the estate of a single, avid collector. There is a phenomenal collection of Native American turquoise and sterling jewelry. We have Concho belts too numerous to count that are studded with turquoise, branch coral, even Morgan dollars. Complete the look with our assortment of squash blossom necklaces.  Tucked in with the jewelry is a fine collection of late 19th and early 20th Northern Plains Indians bead work. There are Papoose cradles, baskets, moccasins, saddlebags, gloves, ceremonial scarves, and pouches to ponder.  This is one of the finest collections we have presented.  But wait, I digress from the jewelry. There is a mind-boggling collection of beadwork in the jewelry too that includes several custom pieces by Kim Yubeta and piles of pearls. We have many rings, some with diamonds, some with precious stones, and some with no stones at all.  Bring your ten best friends with ten fingers each and we will outfit the group.  If you like high end collectibles, dive into our collection of Miriam Haskell vintage jewelry pieces. Of course, jewelry has to displayed on something.  How about a Dave McGary polychrome bronze Point of No Return or a Charles Russell classic bronze, The Last Laugh?  We also have a wonderful Lenci Madonna who is looking for a new home.  Art lovers take note: We have a handsome collection too that features original paintings by Juan Breceda, Jonathon Green, Hortensia Bueno, and S. Chenowith.  Important safety tip: this sale has been moved from its original location in Green Valley and is in one room only. We must comply with the fire marshal’s rules and regulations and can only allow 10 people in at a time. Call to set an appointment if you want to be one of the first in.
