Save the date for Catherine’s Estates Art, Pottery, and Garden Sale! Fri/Sat April 8 & 9, from 8‑4pm in a lovely home in the Catalina Foothills on North Pontatoc Road. Address will be on the web and signs will be out on sale day. The sale beckons with art, exciting lighting, Talavera, Native American pottery, and unique furniture finds from an Edwardian loveseat to Mid-century nightstands and a Chinese horseshoe chair. Good art lives here. We have a pencil and watercolor study by LeRoy Neiman, original oils by Mark Daniels, Dirk Van Driest, Claudine Morrow, Siegfried Hahn, Connie Dillman, and mid-century works by Greg Copeland and John Marin. There is an impressive collection of hand-turned exotic hardwood bowls that show amazing detail.  This house has an abundance of pottery, from Mata Ortiz to Talavera and Tonala too! Take your shoes off and wiggle your toes on our collection of area rugs. Say Hi to our four foot tall wooden Buddha. Popular lore is that if you rub your hand on the Buddha’s belly it will bring you good luck; imagine what will happen when you buy it! Lladros and Steuben glass makes this sale sparkle; most pieces are in their original boxes! This sale features a collection of Danish sterling flatware, candlesticks, and lots of dishware and glassware.  We have clothing, quality jewelry (including a five carat star sapphire ring), and a beautiful satin bridal gown with Alencon lace. Pack for your honeymoon with designer luggage by Ralph Lauren.  Outside you’ll find tables filled with baskets, ceramic pieces,  and other treasures. Make yourself comfy in our outdoor patio lounge chair.  Fun everyday dishes include Williams Sonoma, Neiman Marcus, and Sevres Napoleonic Bees. Um, there may be a little bit of an upscale but hey life is short and why not live large.
