Save the date for Catherine’s Estates Springtime Sale!  April 23-24, from 8am-4pm in a grand home by Sabino Canyon Park. Address will be published the day before and signs will be out.  Wear your mask and come on out, there’s plenty of parking and this spacious home is made for social distancing!  The estate and grounds are loaded with quality contemporary and mid-century modern furniture!  Custom and grand scale furniture includes a sensuous beige leather sectional, a beautiful partner’s desk, massive provincial sideboard, a walnut mid-century modern dining room table & chairs with a fab china cabinet.  Mid-century magic continues in the master bedroom with a stunning mirror and chrome bedroom set featuring a platform king bed, two mirrored end tables, a triple wide dresser, and an entertainment cabinet with drawers.  The other bedrooms feature a wonderful queen metal bed with glass top side table, a King bed with tufted upholstered back and marble top end tables and a dresser. And more!  There’re two blue corduroy loveseats, coffee tables, contemporary glass tables, and a super comfy brown leather three cushion sofa bed with an inflatable queen mattress.  Outside you will find quality patio furniture including an oval patio table and six chairs with cushions, two lounge chairs with cushions and two metal side tables.  Add a space heater for chilly nights, check your Vantage wireless weather station for the forecast, then fire up you big NXR propane grill and Traeger smoker! We have original wall art Roy Grinnell, Gilbert Margeson, Douglas Ricks, Claudine Morrow, John Nieto, photographs by Edward Curtis, Barry Goldwater, and a serigraph by Diana Maderas. Bronze lovers take note: we have a delightful Australian allegorical bronze that features the flora and fauna from down under. This family and their ancestors are world collectors. We have artifacts, weaponry, and folk art from around the world. There are nautical lamps, compasses, portholes and sailing gear. The 19th century comes to the fore with a life preserver ring from the Christobal Colon, an antique whaling harpoon from the famous Karluk, scrimshaw, a collection of African spears, carved narwhal spears, fish spears, flails, a shillelagh, a boomerang, a buggy whip and more.  The collection of carved animal figures, totem poles,  masks, baskets and gourds encompass the globe. Treat your feet with a 12x14 Dhurrie rug or a wool Persian carpet with a center dark blue octagonal medallion. This sale features a vast selection of dishware & pottery from Davis Kitchens. There is a service for sixteen of Noritake’s rain dance and many different sets of cannisters, glassware, bowls, plates, cups and more from Pottery Barn, Pier One, Blue Willow, Banana Republic World Market, beloved pieces of Italian Majolica, and colorful Mexican ceramics and terra cotta dishes.  The appliance pantry is loaded and also has the usual assortment of pots, pans, and kitchenalia. Books and bookcases! Thumb through a collection of Art and refence books as well as a large collection of contemporary literature. The cookbooks will tell you what to do and how to do it. If you’d rather watch TV, we have several flat screen models to choose from. There is a fun collection of jewelry and quality men and women’s clothing.   The good stuff doesn’t stop at the door.  In the garage you’ll find tools, garden tools, a freezer, and something for everyone.
