Lena was still driving at 96 when she passed. She and her husband had raised a son and daughter who had both become very successful in their own right.
When they immigrated to the United States in 1949, their most burning goal was to attain U.S. Citizenship. Lena learned English and took other classes as well. Within two years, they both had earned their U.S. Citizenship. After they moved into their home in 1964, Lena spent a great deal of time at the Huntington Library, the Arboretum in Arcadia, at home reading, and in the garden of this beautiful home at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains.
The Karma in this home is tangible! The prevailing theme is late Deco into Mid-C. Modern. They were fans of Heywood Wakefield and Danish Modern and blended it with Asian accents. The result is under-stated Class.
