Richard "Don" Klopfer (1920-2009) He attended the National Art School in Washington D.C. and the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. Don was a life-long, passionate visual artist who worked in a variety of mediums, including oil paints, wood and bronze. His gallery and furniture re-finishing business in West Los Angeles from 1954 to 1980 was a gathering place for artists, friends and collectors.
