Please bid ONLY if you can pick up on designated day within time window, or pay for packing, shipping, handling + insurance.

All items are sold AS IS and are non-refundable.
We have made every effort to describe this item as accurately as possible and have revealed defects in photos and/or text. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate.

Bidding and Payment Terms
Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. When you bid, you have committed to pay for and pick up your item(s) and if not possible, pay for shipping, handling and packing of your winnings to be shipped.

Listing end times have a soft close. Extra time will be added to ending times to allow bidders more time receive an outbid notification and place a higher bid. It mimics what happens in a live auction where the auctioneer asks for any last bids before the sale. If you want to ensure you win, enter your highest bid the first time. No one else can see it, but you will have the security of knowing the system will do the work for you if you cannot watch the auction close.

Since a bid is a commitment to buy, if you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges must be revoked across our network in the future, and your winnings will be donated or resold. Please do not bid if you do not plan to pay, pick-up at the designated location, date or time or pay for shipping, packing and handling.

A 21% buyer's premium will be added to the total bid amount along with appropriate taxes.

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice.
Please wait for an invoice to be emailed to you before paying, so that we can group multiple wins on one invoice.

You are purchasing items in AS IS condition. We cannot refund your purchase.
All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. If you do not pay or we do not hear from you by noon the day after auction's close, your items will be resold to the next highest bidder, and your bidding privileges may be revoked. This is to protect the integrity of the auction process.

Pick-up by Appointment only.
You MUST schedule a pick-up appointment with ?Sign-Up Genius? for the scheduled pick-up date and time unless you have made shipping arrangements by noon the day after the auction closes.

We cannot change pick-up location, dates or times, move items to new pick-up locations or store them.
Pick-up dates, times and location cannot be changed. Address for pick-up will be shared with winners only on the invoice, after the sale closes. Please bid ONLY if you are able to attend the pick-up, or if you plan to have items shipped, and are prepared to pay an additional amount for packing, shipping and handling. We cannot hold or store items after pick-up.

Please bring necessary tools, transporting material and help for picking up large items, multiple lots & fragile items. We cannot help you move items as our insurance does not cover us. The exact address of the pickup will be on the invoice, along with any instructions or contact information.

Shipping for small/non-furniture items is available at buyer's expense.
We automatically assume that any out of state winners will require shipping and all in state winners will pick-up. If you are in state and require shipping, email jishman@caringtransitions.com with an address, contact name and phone number by noon the day after you win the item. Please be aware that shipping charges can be very expensive and may exceed the value of an item. We ship to the address listed on your Live Auctioneer account.

We will send an invoice with the cost for handling ($10/lot with more than 1 lot at $5/lot) and deliver your lot(s) to UPS within one week of payment. UPS will contact you to arrange payment for packing, shipping and insurance. Some lots cannot be shipped due to size or weight constraints. Please check the listing before bidding as this will be indicated.

If you do not pick up an item and it must be delivered to UPS, you have incurred handling and packing costs which are due before shipping is complete. If you choose to pick up at UPS, you will still owe handling and packing charges. If unpaid, your purchase will not be released before payment in full. If you abandon your lot at UPS, it will be donated within two weeks after auction pick up.

Abandoned items will be donated or resold and bidding privileges may be revoked.
Any items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time or within two weeks of delivery to UPS will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. We cannot refund abandoned items at any time. If any expense to us is left unpaid, sadly, bidding privileges must be revoked.

We know these terms are stringent. This is to protect you and our clients. Our clients trust us all to honor our agreement to sell their precious items to you. Our terms also protect bonafide bidders from losing opportunities from those who do not intend on honoring their commitment to purchase.
