Note: We will use Eventbrite.com to form sign-in sheet starting at 5 pm the night before the sale starts.
WE WILL NOT BE DOING ANY PRE-SALES FOR THIS ESTATE SALE.
But, there will be many items from the estate listed on EBAY.
1.) NO REFUNDS or Exchanges - Items SOLD AS IS
2.) CASH, CREDIT, & DEBT only.
3.) For items that are auctioned, if your bid wins, payment will be due immediately after the auction ends.
4.) Sales tax applies unless you show current resale license & fill out any req. forms.
5.) Sales containing lots of small items we will require customers to check purses (wallet size is OK), bags, or boxes at the door.
6.) Items will need to be picked up before the sale ends.
7.) For items that are auctioned off, pick up is one week after the auction ends.
8.) You must bring adequate help to pack and move items yourself.
9.) No public restroom at sale location.
10.) Children must hold adult hand through display area. Strollers must remain outside.

This sale will be for much of the contents of this modest home of a humble hero, SSG Walter D. Ehlers and his wife Dorothy Ehlers (Decker).  SSG Walter D. Ehlers received the highest level of recognition for his courage and sacrifice.  I'm sure you will feel as honored as a guest at this sale, as we do as an Estate Sale company, to be anywhere near where he spent time.

The medals, patches, and uniform of Walter D Ehlers have been sent to stay at the WW2 Museum in New Orleans, but there are many other collectible items from his long life as a recipient of the Medal of Honor that will be made available to sell.

Staff Sergeant Walter D. EhlersSPEARHEAD OF THE ATTACK by James Dietz and commissioned by Soldier Task Force 1-18, Baghdad and Ta'Meem, Iraq 2006-2007. The estate is selling Print #17 & #19 which are signed by Walter D. Ehlers and the artist. They both have their certificate on the back. This beautiful work of art portrays the leadership and bravery of SSG Walter Ehlers during the assault of June 9-10, 1944. Near Goville, France. SSG Ehlers led his men to knock out several enemy positions while under heavy fire and while advancing the 18th Infantry Regiment. SSG Ehlers drew enemy fire to himself allowing his men to reach safety, then carried out a wounded man after being wounded himself and then returned to retrieve his rifle.
