We never allow 'early birds' or 'pre-sales' so when the doors open, everyone has the same chance (especially if they signed up or stood outside waiting).

Rainier Estates – Premium Estate Sales & Sotheby’s Realtor

The owners lived in this home since 1968, in addition, the lovely lady who resided here inherited items from her parents and grandparents (and she was 95)! She and her husband saved everything. We are just starting to unpack the cupboards and closets and will share more information and pics as we uncover more.

Here are the initial pictures (4/13/19) before we have gotten started.

Item of note: Early 1930's (possibly 1920's) Steinway & Sons Model L Grand Piano. The owner was a concert level pianist and played this daily until about 10 years ago! It needs tuning and the finish has some fading in spots, but it is otherwise quite the amazing piece. It is referred to as a 'Living Room Grand' and 'among the larger sized 'baby grands'. It is known for it's medium size and BIG Sound!

Louis IV style dining room table, buffet and chairs are quite elegant - along with much of the furniture in the living room. If you love the French style, you'll love this sale!

There is all the usual household to include garage tools, kitchen dishes, pots and pans, decor, art, crystal, china, yard tools, bedroom furniture (1960's) plus great costume jewelry, fur coats and vintage hats! Some fun Mid-Century modern lamps and decor!

Special books, especially the 2 volumes pictured in the images 'Personal Memoirs of U.S. Grant' Volume 1 and Volume 2 in Fair condition. Signed by the author. A wonderful addition to any collection for sure!

4/18 Updates: This family LOVED music! As a result there are speakers (nice ones) in just about every room, there are Pioneer receivers, tape decks, and quality turntables. We tried to take pics of them all. There are a great many mid-century modern lamps (hard wired and table varieties), as you can see. There are some unusual fur coats (have never seen a vintage kangaroo before)! There are hundreds of classical vinyl records. This family maintained everything in top condition (with the exception of the vintage stuffed furniture and cat claws). The lady of the house truly enjoyed her costume jewelry! She also loved to sew! Lots of sewing notions, buttons, fabrics, thread and more. There is a LOT of it. We'll keep adding as we go.

4/21 Updates: Today we worked on the garage! Lots of tools and garden items. Even some nice lumber! Items include those pictured, a nice lawnmower, usual garden tools and some special iron items (see pics). Check out the 'Gold Award' 5 cent Superior Confections Vintage Slot Machine from the 1930's. It was all tucked away and has the key. It's FULL of money and even old confections. Pretty special piece and very clean. Made in San Francisco! Given the rare nature of this slot machine, we are taking the highest offer by Sunday 4/28 for this machine! You are welcome to email/message us your highest offer. Any transportation, shipping and the legality of shipping this to certain states, will be the responsibility of the winning bidders. Value is $6,000 - $15,000.

If you love digging through garage tools of every kind, you'll enjoy this one. 90% less expensive than Home Depot too!

Everything in this home will be for sale, including appliances and light fixtures that are attached to the ceiling. If you are inclined to any of these types of items, please bring the proper tools and skillset to remove them! If you love furniture but don't have a truck or a friend with one, check out the LUGG app! It's like Uber for Movers and our clients have had much success with it!

Sign up sheet will be placed outside the front door by Thursday. We only go by our own sign up sheet. Please do not wander the property as there are alarms in place!
