John Fassbinder was known for his ceramics, drawings and original oil on canvas work. In addition to his work his wife Gretchen was well known for her original design work with cloisonné and sterling jewelry and I am also offering her personal collection as part of this sale.
Other artists work offered in this sale are Paul Soldner, Robert Sperry, Doug Lawrie pottery, Susan Hertel, Jim Fuller, Liz Fuller fabric art, George Bogart oil on canvas, James Wayne art glass, and many more local and regional artists well known from the 50’s-70’s with a mid century modern vibe.
His potters wheel was built and gifted to him by his good friend Paul Soldner and his potters wheel is also part of this sale along with other ceramic tools and accessories. Antiques, mirrors, Mata Ortiz Mexican pottery and fabulous folk art.
