This is an online auction sale using CharityAuctionsToday web platform. Bidders must create an account and register a credit card to be used to pay for winning bids at the close of the auction.
The auction ends on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 12noon PDT at which time the auction will close and the highest bidder will win the item and the credit card registered will be charged. The winner will be notified and given the option to either pick up the winning item(s) at Claremont Heritage (840 N Indian Hill Blvd. Claremont, CA 91711, or to have them shipped or delivered for an extra charge.
All property offered and sold through Claremont Heritage, Inc., (the "Company") shall be offered and sold on the terms and conditions set forth in these Conditions of Sale.
Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve below which the lot will not be sold. In most cases, the reserve will be set below the estimated range, but in no case will it exceed the estimates listed.
By participating in any sale, you acknowledge that you are bound by these terms and conditions. Claremont Heritage, Inc. has made every effort to catalogue and describe accurately property to be sold. The Company, however, assumes no risk, liability or responsibility for the identification or authenticity or authorship, or weight, count, or measure of any property identified in its catalogue or lists of sale. This shall include, among others, the identity of the creator, the period, culture, source of origin with which the creation of any property is identified in any publication. In the case of inaccurate condition reports, the buyer may be eligible for a credit for a future auction if the buyer contacts the Company within 7 days of the auction closing.

Spring 2026 Claremont Gold Auction
Welcome to our Spring Art + Design Auction! We are happy you are here - if you have registered before you can just log-in. If you haven't registered before, please do so now - You will have an opportunity to bid on all the items during the duration of the auction (BIDDING OPENS SUN MAY 24 @12NOON - BIDDING ENDS SUN JUNE 7 @12NOON).
NEW ITEMS ADDED REGULARLY - CHECK BACK OFTEN!
We usually focus our auctions on local or regional noted artists. Claremont has an incredible cultural art legacy with the likes of Millard Sheets and art programs at the Claremont Colleges as well as the Claremont Graduate University - Mid-century Artists include: Karl Benjamin, Millard Sheets, Milford Zornes, Paul Darrow, Harrison McIntosh, Jean Ames, William Manker, Eric Darrow and many more! This year we will also include some mid-century design pieces - or what we call "functional art" by noted furniture craftsman Sam Maloof and original Herman Miller Charles and Ray Eames LCW chairs.
We will be adding items on a regular basis so check back regularly - We start the bidding at approximately 1/3 of the value so there are many opportunities to acquire art for your collection at a reasonable price. The proceeds from this auction will support our education programs such as our monthly speaker/film series, workshops, and our Third-grade Local History Program impacting over 400 elementary school kids every year.
