Country & City Collide

What a fun and colorful estate we have to ogle and admire this week! There’s simply no shortage of things to discover and inspire. If you need a little eye-candy dopamine dump come by and explore the dozens of original artworks by extremely talented local artist Nova Exum. Nova was a member of the Cayucos Art Association, multi-time ribbon winner at our beloved Fresno Fair, and well-influenced by the style of Tony Couch – a renowned artist and teacher of watercolor. In addition to his influence, there are a handful of signed original works from Tony and many teaching materials. There’s a fantastic selection of watercolor supplies, including heavyweight Arches Aquarelle paper in varying sizes and weights, sketchpads, Vellum, and other paper goods. Lots of other art supplies, yarn/crochet, oil panting supplies, Kenmore Sewing machine, Singer Featherweight machine, pedal, and case, and more. Dozens of art books, tapes and teaching materials.

There is sturdy solid wood furniture throughout the home, a fully adjustable queen bed and new/great quality mattress, and two solid wood dining tables. I wish we had time to host a tea party this week, there’s a unique cup and saucer for everyone, in unchipped pristine condition. A Fenton Swing vase, several cute little pieces of pottery, and a handful of lovely hand-made quilts. Many “Charming Tails” figures by Fitz & Floyd, Waco “Melody in Motion” clocks, many with boxes, Homco, Precious Moments, and more. Victrola player, record players, some country records and an assortment of cassette tapes. If anyone gets the Dolly Parton tape before me it’s not for sale.

Lots of great stuff outside this week! John Deere 42” E130 GASOLINE riding mower with a mere 262.8 hours on it! Clean, fires right up, probably going to cause a skirmish on the perfectly cut lawn – get there early for this one if you need it. The last 3 mowers we sold were the FIRST items sold at their respective sales and they all had higher hours. This is the one, Bud, your lawn and back deserve it. Gas powered Earthquake Viper Auger to spin one of your best buddies around on after you promise to hold on the next time, wink, wink. A SWEEEEET Mooncool TK Pro Electric pedal assist tricycle that gets up to a full 15.5 MPH and impresses two motorcycle bros as you drive by and confidently give the “Sup” head nod – ask me how I know! There’s also another Mooncool bike that was sadly wrecked, but is still very fixable with a handful of tools (from this garage, probably) and some self-confidence and patience. (And probably some YouTube, if you’re me.)

That’s enough already – just come see us this Thursday and Friday from 7:00 AM – 1:00ish. There’s cool stuff, and you’re cool, so we all belong together.

SOME NOTES ABOUT THE PROPERTY

HOTEL CALIFORNIA LINE RULES: As usual – once you take your place in line you must remain in your car/be present while waiting for the sale to open. Leaving the area (for food, bathroom, etc.) means losing your spot in line, so stick around. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. (And trust me, people notice and they do make us aware.)

TWO LINES THIS WEEK: One starting at the front door for indoor items, the second on the right side of the driveway, near the right garage door, for outdoor items. You may leave a bag as your place in line, but please don’t leave the vicinity – you should be findable around the area.

PARKING: Ample parking. Please do NOT park in the driveway unless loading. DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAYS! It’s inconsiderate to our neighbors and everyone will judge you 😉

MUSCLE: Friendly reminder, the buyer is generally responsible for moving, loading, and securing their own purchases.
