This little gem of a sale is located up in the" Hills of Covina ". The homeowners where Professors in Astronomy and where in the Science field at Cal State Northridge.
They loved what they did and also entertained , traveled and photographed the world ! We have tons of books , antique & used books in English and German ,photos, art, rugs, and so much more .This sale is definitely eclectic and the home has been not lived in for years !!
We have worked hard to unveil a lot of things that haven't been scene for years and now we can bring to you a great sale. It is sad that we don't have a lot of history here .. all we can say is they where well educated and loved to travel the world. You too can see this as you go through the home.
As you enter the home it has a Asian flair with pieces they collected through the last 30 years.
The living room/ dinning room area have nice rugs, pair of black lacquer Chinese style chairs ,inlaid walnut bookcase/curio/bar, Heritage Henredon tables, several other round tables, bookcases, decor art, prints , lithos, American Indian sand Art, lots of items they collected through all there travels, Chinese/Asian pottery, Mexican, Indian, Delft, sets of Czechoslovakian hand painted dish sets, Franciscan wear Desert Rose ,silver plate tea sets, Le Coultre Atmos clock, mahogany curio, mahogany d/r table 2 fills/chairs ,mid-century bar cart, smaller antique trunks, lamps, German telescope still in its case and so much more..
Music room / Kirchner mahogany baby grand piano w/bench, Webcore turntable/radio, lots of bookcases , chairs , mid-century record cabinet full of albums, deor art , prints, rugs, lots of sheet music, and a ton of books .. English and German, Antique & used, etc.
Bedrooms/Office / All the rooms have misc oak , walnut, mahogany, dressers, desks, mid-century
industrial desk, Inlaid walnut armoire , side tables w/ headboard (king size) side chest and a lot more books , misc womans clothing in a lot of different sizes. A very nice 20' runner and more decor art. We have something for everyone.
Kitchen, there is a 54" round oak table, oak chairs and a large amount of household items .
There is a lot here and it is all priced to sell ..30 years of things has to be gone in 2 days .
