This week we are having a sale in Fountain Valley! This home is the 3rd one this year that all I can say is "WOW"! Soooo much stuff from a long-time, hard-core collector! Needless to say, this is one you won't want to miss if you are a collector or reseller! At a glance, the house was nicely organized! The surprises were how much was hidden away! So I'm bad at guessing numbers(of items 200,000? 500,000?) but there are so many things in this house that it's tight and we are not done unloading! 4 sheds and the garage rafters are still packed!

First of all, lets start with the boat and ship collection. I'm going with 300++ sail boats and ancient style sailing ships. You know, like the Cutty Sark and the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria! That type. Plus more modern sailboats and pond boats. Some are water-worthy some decorative. From small to big! Then A TON of ship related decorative items. Carved wooden sea captains and the like. Pirates, Lighthouses, ducks, dolphins, fish, and all manner of Sea decoratives! Bookends!

Then we have the blown glass and paper weights! Yowza! Hundreds of pieces of hand-blown glass animals and colorful blown glass paper weights. Glass menagerie! Again, a sea theme is prevalent-dolphins, fish, etc. but sooo many other animals. Like birds, lots of swans, horses, and just everything that struck his fancy. The glass doesn't stop there. There is glass EVERYWHERE! We have an entire room jam-packed full of glassware-mostly all colored glass. (Don't know where we're going to put the rest because more and more boxes keep getting pulled out!) Big and small pieces in every color of the rainbow! Art glass, blown glass, common glass-vases, decanters, stemware, and all manner of misc pieces.

A couple of curio/display cabinets(still also full!), upholstered sofa and love seat, oak multi-level roll-top desk, white-washed rattan dinette set and a "go-with" rattan book/display shelf. And did I say tables? Side table and novelty tables-antique to modern! So small tables and stands, small cabinets and bins. Many that I'm sure I have forgotten to include-and again-still digging things out.

Lots of Lighting including a nice selection of table lamps and all sorts of side table lights. Lamps were another favorite of his! And again, a diverse selection from very modern to a couple more vintage style. A nice selection of electronics and stereo equipment-taking up half a room. Same room is occupied by games and puzzles(LOTS!!) and office supplies. Not to mention the giant flat screen TV in the master. Clowns were a thing and ducks.

A very nice selection of art. Wait! Nice selection? Big selection! Prints and originals. Oils and posters. Antique, Mid-Century, contemporary. Then the cute little decorative plaques. They are EVERYWHERE in every room!

 
BOOOOOOKS! So many books! 1000's on every subject! Almost all of them are coffee table or books for higher learning. Also art type books! The beautiful sort of books! Clearly a passion of his as they are everywhere and still coming!

There are 3 other bedrooms. 2 different bed frames one full-size and a queen? in the master. Wood matching nightstand and dresser here in the master. A corner desk/work station, and a wood dresser. A CUTE nautical painted chest and a selection of chairs from painted to upholstered antique to contemporary.

In addition to the furniture in the master, that is our "car room"! They are all over and so "guyish"! Definitely haven't gotten to setting up that room yet but at a glance(and carrying box after box full in there!) there are everything from Hotwheels and Matchbox to the 1:18 - 1:32 die-cast to misc toys and novelty cars.

For you guys!-the garage! Guys stuff like tools and things..... Hand tools, some power tools, gardening equipment and supplies, some tool chests and all those things you need for a well equipped work space. A BIG selection of household supplies for cleaning and repairing stuff. The garage also holds a treasure trove of tables and bins full of stuff we haven't even opened yet. 

YES, there is jewelry. While it's mostly fun, I've seen some nice sterling pieces and a couple pieces of gold. Tie Bars and cufflinksI have not yet finished going through it. Little pewter figurines

LOTS OF MENS CLOTHES!!! When I say lots I mean a couple thousand pieces! You clothing people should come take a look!! An entire bedroom stacked to the brim with ALL CLOTHES and the rest is going in bins! T-shirts, polo shirts, sports/athletic shirts, button-up shirts, shorts, pants! And shoes and jackets etc. We continue to unearth more!

The fully appointed kitchen includes bake ware, nice  pots and pans, small appliances, and all the stuff you need for the home. A fridge and many appliances still in boxes`. 

The yard! Sooo full! All sorts of bins because the house is already fully loaded! Potted plants and fake plants! Gardening supplies and bins of holiday items! 5 plastic sheds on the property in very nice condition. So much more!

PLEASE READ THIS! The gent haunted antique malls, thrift stores and estate sales. There are many tags left on the items he had in his home and packed away. We cannot possibly take the time to remove them all! THEY ARE NOT MY PRICE TAGS and those tags will not be honored so keep this in mind! Some may be more but MOST are less! Again, only my sticker tags will be honored! And there is so much stuff, many things will get missed-so ask me and I'll price it!

Sign-up sheet available at 3pm on Thursday. We will need to be careful as the house is tight! Cash Only. Bring Help to Load large Items. Be considerate of our neighbors and don't park in or in front of driveways!! We are not responsible for accidents! I will add the pictures on Tuesday or Wednesday evening when we are done setting up.We will go half-price on Saturday. Again, I still have not gone through every single thing-so much more to go but I believe there is some interesting things and fun stuff!!!
