Terms and Conditions

Payment:
We accept credit card payments up to $5,000 through the Liveauctioneers payment system. For invoice amounts over $5,000, payment must be made by bank wire transfer. We will provide the necessary bank wire information to the winning bidder, including a SWIFT number if necessary.

Bidding:
By submitting a bid in any form (in person, via phone, absentee, internet, or through an agent), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Terms and Conditions Agreement. You are obligated to fulfill your part of the agreement if your bid is successful.

Conditions:
All items are sold "AS IS," and all sales are final after the hammer falls. Buyers should inspect the items or ask questions before making a purchase. Our condition or grading statements are subjective opinions and not guarantees. Buyers are responsible for determining the item's condition, age, authenticity, and other factors on their own, regardless of whether they bid online or in person. If you have questions, we highly encourage you to ask them before the auction begins.

Refunds:
There are no refunds. Your bid represents your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. The buyer assumes all risks regarding valuations and authenticity. We do not provide any warranty or guarantee of authenticity. No chargebacks are allowed. We are not responsible for errors and omissions, and there are no refunds or returns. Verbal announcements made by the auctioneer supersede the written catalog during the auction. All bidders are bound by any changes announced by the auctioneer or auction house, whether bidding live or online. Failed performance by the winning bidder may result in the label "Unpaid Bidder" being applied to their account as a warning to other users.

Shipping:
It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange shipping or pick up the item(s) once payment has been made. Please see our shipping terms. We may ship certain items deemed safe and valued under $500 in-house to USA addresses. All other lots must be shipped by our designated local shipper or the winning bidder's shipper at their expense. Buyers should ensure their chosen shipper has insurance and requires a signature for confirmation.
We are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by third-party shippers.
International customs, tariffs, taxes, and other fees are the buyer's and shipper's responsibility.
We do not ship internationally from our location.

Disputes:
Any disputes will go through mediation and, if necessary, binding arbitration. Mediation requires written requests and cooperation between the parties. The arbitration process will be governed by JAMS rules and initiated by a written demand. Both parties share the arbitration costs. Certain communications made during mediation are confidential and cannot be used in later proceedings unless they are otherwise admissible or discoverable. These terms are governed by California law.

COVID-19:
Due to Covid-19, we offer in-house shipping and contactless in-person pick-up. Cash payments are not accepted. Payment can be made through Liveauctioneers payment systems, including credit card, bank wire transfer, check, or money order. Local buyers can schedule pick-up after online payment.
