An rare, important and unique flat weave, single loom, vegetable dyed, Mexican blanket with President Pascual Ortiz Rubio cartouche in the middle.

Mexican President Pascual Ortiz Rubio who took office in 1930.  He served only 2 years of his term. President Ortiz felt he could not serve effectively in office due to alleged interference from a former president and an attempt on his life at the very start of his presidency left him very shaken. President Ortiz stepped down from office on September 4, 1932.
