This is a CASH ONLY sale. Please bring your own help as well as your own boxes to sale. All items purchased must be removed from premises no later than Saturday at 12:30 pm. We do not have delivery service available. No item will be held without non-refundable cash deposit; This is a very old home and there may be a few hazards, young children are not advised. A few steps inside and out only. We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur while you are on the property. There are absolutely no refunds for any purchase at anytime - please make your decision to purchase carefully - all items sold in strictly "AS IS" condition. Only a limited number will be allowed into home and garages at a given time. Please line up orderly as sale will open promptly at 9am; we do not maintain lists of any kind. A true ESTATE SALE by a Greek-American family in South Gardena - in one of the oldest surviving homes in the area dating back to the 1920s. The family has lived in the home since the early 1940s and opened a candy store and later along with a rear even older home a Guesthouse for elderly women; many of whom through the years left the owners some of their treasured items. On top of which the husband and wife both devoutly religious, kept a number of religious items in the home and the wife in particular loved garage sale shopping way back when there were real treasure to be had for a song and a dance - her tastes were quite eclectic ranging from old art work, some California related, to old photos, and many first edition books as well as manuscript documents. All clothes and jewelry have been either kept or donated by the family to charities in the area.

They threw little if anything away and there are lots and lots of old bakelite radios, an ancient TV and fridges going back to the 1940s; old pails, lanterns, wooden ladders, and boxes and boxes of old urban antiques and parts some of which we are unable to identify.

After the owners passing at advanced ages, the home remained sealed up for a number of years - and now it is time to sell, sell sell - everything in the home; a dining set and hutch from the 1920s, some porcelain and pottery, religious art, stuffed furniture mostly from the 1930s to 1950s, a large CHINESE MING VASE, a bronze shell, old bird paintings, and a stunning large winter landscape painting by well listed artist LASZLO NEOGRADY in an incredible frame and probably dating to the 1940s or 50s among other works of art including a possibly unique and very beautiful signed early California oil painting on tapestry cloth depicting a padre with possibly Mission San Juan Capistrano in the background.

There's also a number of music CDs, and lots and lots of unknowns secreted away in two large garages - awaiting your discovery!

Everything must be sold during this 2 day only sale! There's something for everyone - so come and seek out your treasures - you won't be disappointed!
