Gone but not forgotten is the theme of this sale. The home sat empty of people for a couple of years, as the successful and very busy son had his own life to lead.  His father's  home tells the story of a  fisherman, hunter, adventurer and collector who couldn't bear to throw anything away and who loved his elaborate N Scale electric train set and his children.  He was a patriot, evidenced by a collection of American Flags.  He is gone, but his children's and grandchildren's toys tell the story of an idyllic childhood of swimming, fishing, camping and collecting. 

The furniture and lamps are Danish Modern of the early 60's and its beautiful! The upholstered pieces are dark green leather and are like new. The art is fun but not important.  The garage is packed with tools, parts, supplies two antique safes   and everything that wouldn't fit in the house.  This is two sales in a row that has many things for the men in the family! Tools, parts, supplies (many to do with plumbing), electric trains, track, etc.  Fishing rods & reels, stuffed birds, antlers, skins, camping gear, over 50 airplane models, many sealed new in the box.
