Description & Details

Hello, and thank you for taking a look at this sale.  Please note:  the garage will open at 12 noon, not at 10 am.

We're working on getting more details and photos for you with the specific items, so check back soon, but in the meantime, you can find the usual items.  Here is a partial list of common items, but not everything is available at every sale:

Here is a list of common items:

  • Lane cedar chest
  • a five-shelf lawyer's bookcase by The Globe-Wernicke Company
  • two floor safes
  • a sectional sofa
  • a set of five "bottle cap" barstools
  • a set of dining chairs
  • a very nice dining table with two leaves
  • a small collection of vintage Bob's Big Boy dishes
  • a matching set of office furniture: desk, corner desk, credenza or side table, two-drawer filing cabinet
  • a twin bed
  • dressers, with and without mirrors, and nightstands

We also have some framed artwork, garage-related tools and equipment, and much, much more!  Priced to sell!

This is the dining table that would really bring some class to your dining room. Note also the two leaves, and the six matching chairs. Here is another picture of the dining set, with a set of Franciscan china on it. You can also see a part of the lighted display cabinet and the storage unit. This is a better look at the china set on the table. This is a photo of the Franciscan Masterpiece china dishes. This photo shows the sectional sofa, which looks really comfortable. In the same room is the four-piece office furniture: desk, corner desk, side table (credenza?), and the two-drawer filing cabinet. These are fairly unusual, a set of five bottle cap barstools. These appear to be set up for a semi-permanent installation.Shown here is the lawyer's bookcase by The Globe-Wernicke Company. And here is the label for the lawyer's bookcase. There is a small Christmas dish set as can be seen on the side cabinet. One of the dining table leaves is shown on the far left. This is a better view of the kitchen cabinet by Hoosier. This label applies to the kitchen cabinet in the dining room. This armoire is a bit unusual in that it features glass doors. Of course, if you need a standing fan, that is here, too. Partially shown is a quilt rack. This secretary's desk can fit nicely in a nook in your place. This piece could have been originally an entertainment cabinet, but you can use it in a number of different ways. Don't forget the tall plant stand in the corner, or the video monitor on top. On the left side, you can see another look at a portion of the quilt rack, but the main item here is the dresser. If you like the artwork, then consider buying them.If you like coats, here is an excellent choice. The hanger says Saks Fifth Avenue. You'll need to come to the sale to see if the coat is from there. This sale does have a little bit of clothing in it. Here is one of the closets. You can also see a portion of the bed, and a few items on the bookcase. This is a better look at the twin bed, along with a few pillows and a nightstand. This is the Lane cedar chest. Doesn't it look good? For proof, here is the maker's mark.Fancy a game of pool? Which game? Eight-ball? Sure, you can play online, but that's not the same as playing on a real table. In case you were curious who made the pool table (billiard table), it was the Acme Billiard Supply Company in Los Angeles. For the floor safe collectors, there are two. This is one of them. The second safe is by the The Safe Cabinet Co., out of Marietta. These storage drawers were originally used to store Simplicity fabric patterns. You can store anything that will fit, of course. In the garage/workshop, these tool storage pieces are available. Or if you want the poster of The Wild Ride, ask about it.This is an all-metal workshop table, useful for all manner of projects. On these shelves you can see a variety of objects, including a floor jack, weightlifting weights, a table-model drill press, a crow, a bowling ball, and other items. This is another shelf unit with miscellaneous power tools. There is a propane-powered Coleman lantern. The garage portion of the sale opens at 12 noon. This is a child-sized picnic table. You can also see the backside of a child's storage bin system. This is a decent overall picture of the garage, including a look at the child-sized storage and table. You can also ask about the shelving. An outdoor umbrella is useful, plus the two outside chairs.Who doesn't need a picture of W. C. Fields holding an 8-ball and pool cue?In this photo you can see a collection of vintage toys, including a couple of pedal cars, a pair of fox masks, and Tonka (or similar) construction toys. This is a better look at the pedal boat, and the station wagon and camper trailer (or "caravan", if you're British). And this picture shows the Glendale pedal car better. There are other vintage toys and decorations available on the tables in these photos. This is a slightly different view of the central table. To the left, there are a number of crow statues, and below the table in a white box the Pillsbury Dough Boy family of toys. If you are in the need of a standing scale (like from the doctor's office), we have one of those. And holiday dolls and decorations, plus a few others are here. There are two off-road motorcycles in the garage. This is one view.......and here is the second view.A few fishing poles are in the garage, as well as this refrigerator. Here is a better view of the lighted display cabinet. If you like 7-Up decorations, take a look above the cabinet. In case you were wondering about the Bob's Big Boy dishes, here they are. This clock, by Mastercrafters, is quite interesting. You'll have to come by the sale to see if the girl swings as part of the alarm. There are a few more figurines in the sale, including a Pepe LePew. If you have any candy to weigh out, this scale can do it.
