See the stack of framed artwork, on the left side. Oh, and the hint of a typewriter on the right. This is a better picture of the typewriter sitting on top of the stereo speaker. There is a framed stained glass of hummingbirds to the right, slightly behind the Route 66 sign. This secretary's desk has a definite style. See also the crystal pieces on top.For those of you collecting the glass insulators, look at the right side of this table. Save yourself a bunch of money by making your own clothes! The fourth shelf down has a pair of wooden shoes. We in the US tend to think these were only worn by the Dutch, but others wore similar shoes as garden shoes over regular cloth shoes. The primary item shown here is a vintage ice box, with mugs or steins on top.I haven't quite figured out what the big silver item is in the far right shelf. The round hole has a mesh screen inside. Come see for yourself what it is.There are a number of empty frames, books, and classic magazines in the sale.Aside from the filing cabinet, there are a myriad of other items in the sale, including some art supplies. The blonde-wood cabinets are not filing cabinets but drawers. This is the dryer. And this is the washer in the washer & dryer set. This Samsung product belongs to the refrigerator. This is the Samsung side-by-side refrigerator. While the exact year is not clear, this is a vintage glider sofa frame, possibly from the 1940s.There are various patio furniture available, too.The far right appears to be a compost bin, which is a great way to create fertilizer for your garden and recycle your food scraps.Hidden towards the back is one of those carousel bulk nail and screw display from classic hardware stores. How often do you find an AC/DC arc welder in sales? Probably not that often. This is your chance to own one.In addition to the scroll saw, compound miter saw, and table saw, there is also a motorized grinder, belt sander, and heat gun.For a change of pace, take a look at this china/display cabinet. And of course see the china and dishware inside the cabinet. This metal outdoor fire pit is used but in good condition. You can see a number of the holiday decorations on the left hand table between the two filing cabinets. This dining table and chairs are made of pinewood. Maybe not terribly fancy, but still stylish with lots of life left in them. In the back of this picture is the rack of mostly men's clothing, a headboard, a couple of nightstands, and lots of bedding. If you wanted a look at the Villeroy & Boch china, Botanica pattern, this is the photo for you.The family that lived here were artists. You can find two or three generations' worth of pieces. These are originals. The subject matter changes significantly, from still life's to the nature scenes. And don't forget the occasional portrait. For the sewer in the family, this classic featherweight Singer sewing machine could be the perfect gift.In this photo the Singer sewing machine sits among the coffee grinders (back left), accordion (bottom left), Sega Genesis (bottom right), tambourine, drum sticks, maracas, and harmonica. This seashore painting reminds me of a relaxing afternoon.Notable here are the red candy dish and the blue pitcher. But maybe you have different interests. For lighthouse fans, there is a painting here for you, too.More paintings, but also a Discovery telescope for stargazing.A small collection of figurines can be seen here on the secretary's desk, under the wall mirror.Surely someone you know needs a television and stereo speakers.
