Large house in HB, owners were big antiquers in the 80s/90s. Lots of oak but some interesting and fun stuff for everyone.
The star of the show is an antique 1870s/1880s pool table by J. M. Brunswick Company with extensive ornamental inlay, mahogany cabinet with hand-cut pieces of walnut, ebony, satinwood, maple and other woods. Rosewood top rails with diamond sites and nine-foot regulation size with original four-piece playing surface of Vermont slate. Also some cues and a great old cue stand with abacus-style scorer (sorry, didn't get a pic of the scorer but if you'd like one I'd be happy to send that as well).
PLEASE NOTE: the table in the accompanying picture is NOT the actual table, but a VERY CLOSE approximation. Our table is not in perfectly restored condition although it is OK. It has been professionally dismantled and will therefore be easier to cart away--but BRING HELP, it is EXTREMELY HEAVY, even all the separate pieces. We are fielding offers for this table, so if you are interested PLEASE PHONE ME, I can text you pictures of our table. I cannot stress this enough--BRING HELP if you think you may be buying some of the larger pieces. This house has an upstairs and some of the larger pieces are up there. SO PLEASE BRING HELP if you even THINK you may be purchasing some of these larger pieces. Our staff IS NOT ABLE TO HELP MOVE FURNITURE. Thank you.
Lots of large pieces including a beautiful mahogany wardrobe, an Art Nouveau oak sideboard and an Empire(ish) mahogany sideboard as well as a couple of oak dressers, a gigantic tiger oak Pierce desk circa 1915 (in great shape), a rather large circa 1980 bronze Art Nouveau-style (repro) lady lamp (very heavy--working condition), 1980s "country" sofas/coffee+side tables, a SONY BRAVIA 45" flatscreen TV (in great condition), a 45" LG flatscreen TV (also in great condition), about four old SINGER sewing machines, most in pretty good condition, two old oak Singer cabinets in pretty good condition, an OLD Chinese carved chest, a WILLETS BELEEK painted floral vase in PERFECT CONDITION, a few power tools, an entire collection of Norman Rockwell figurines complete with display shelf (all sold separately), some Hummel plates (among others), some vintage cameras (Nikkormat 35mm, Polaroid land camera etc), an entire HP VISION computer setup with Windows 7 in great working condition, a GORGEOUS oak Art Nouveau fireplace mantel (circa 1910), a large 1940s Philco radio (needs some TLC) and a great large antique oak ice chest (circa 1915), among lots of other cool things. Also a couple of cool light fixtures such as the living room chandelier and the upstairs Tiffany-style pool table hanging fixture. ALSO VERY COOL: a red Pinewood Derby car in great condition. Picture shows it without wheels, but WE DO HAVE THE WHEELS.
THIS IS A GATED COMMUNITY. SEE INSTRUCTIONS IN DIRECTIONS PLEASE. It's pretty easy to get in, it's small and the neighbors are cool with sales, but PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE. Don't park in anyone's driveway (including the sale house, we will need it for loading/unloading). Again, please see DIRECTIONS.
Thanks.
