We'll start with furniture. Retro furniture from the 60's and 70's. Super nice Asian Coffee and end tables. 2 more contemporary, sectional, sofas and several vintage 70's sofa(yes-lots!) Arm chairs and occasional chairs including one solid wood Asian chair. A gorgeous Asian Mid-Century fold out bar cart. Asian China hutch and a beautiful, Painted, lacquered, Asian dining table with 4 chairs. A glass and Iron breakfast table with 4 chairs. Several different light fixture styles all over the house, including hanging lamps, floor lamps and table lamps. A super fabulous 1960s chandelier that any retro home would be proud to have! A retro 60s-70s hutch. Antique curved glass display cabinet and a medium size antique secretary that is quite nice. So many trunks and credenzas in all styles. Wooden retro 70's Asian bedroom furniture and one the prettiest Waterfall bedroom sets I've seen! A highboy dresser, vanity table with attached mirror and bench, bed frame and a nightstand. Several antique occasional tables and more stuff I have forgotten!
The family room. This home is soooooo heavy on the glassware and has an enviable amount of crystal and Depression glass. There is barware and stemware galore! Waterford, Gorham, Rogaska, Dorothy Thorpe and so much more. Copious amounts of pattern glass and cut crystal-signed and unsigned but really nice stuff. Some decorative, vintage, pottery pieces, with a heavy emphasis on flowers, whimsey and novelties. More silver plate serving pieces than I have ever seen in one place and 2 sets of flatware.. There is a large collection of teacups and saucers, teapots and beautiful china. Several huge sets of better china-some still in original boxes (remember entertaining) Makers such as Lenox, Haviland, Italy and more.
Kitchen is full of the usual suspects. And actually there are 2 kitchens(again-entertaining) Both packed with modern and vintage! There is a nice collection of Strawberry themed china and decorative items. Cookware, bakeware and the stuff you need to run a well-appointed kitchen. There is every day glassware and stemware, a couple of partial sets of dinnerware. Cookware and appliances and gadgets to make things easier. They're even selling the better gas range in the second kitchen. So much stuff!
The art is a mix. A couple of listed artists both paintings and prints. I admit I haven't been through the art yet as it was taken down and stacked before I got there. Now it's mostly hung back up but I still have to go through it
There is a nice selection of books!! Books I just haven't gotten to yet and ! Subject matter is varied but there are tons of cookbooks! There are crazy amounts of magazines-Largely Bon Appetit dating back to the 80s-Food and Wine-loads of cooking magazines.
Linens, household items, and, misc household related stuff. A selection of Women's clothing and shoes, belts and accessories. Some-almost all- very vintage. The ones I have really seen are so cute and so vintage! We still have not gotten to all of it-even as of this evening it needs to be hung.
A selection of vintage toys and dolls including a HUGE Madam Alexander collection. Some Disney and some. An electronic keyboard and other vintage electronics. There is quite the selection of plush and multiple era baby dolls.
YES, there is jewelry-quite a bit! Costume jewelry, sterling and some better, finer pieces! I have been through part of it and the largest portion is going in my famous $3- crate. There is stuff from fine to fun. Pieces both vintage and modern. Still looking at this but again, GREAT costume and fine pieces gold and silver. Pretty excited about this-both the costume and other. I think I'll be going through this until the last minute! (No valuables kept on premises at any time.)
Then there is the bonus room. If you were focused, you noted "Attic"! Well there are 2 attics and they were/are both packed full of stuff. There is so much Christmas- both modern and vintage. But not just Christmas-Halloween and Easter too! There are HUNDREDS of Holiday related items. Department 56 Christmas village pieces. Garlands, decor, packaging, china, trees, garlands and more. We're trying to go through it but it's a challenge! Then there is the sewing stuff. A couple of professional machines Phaff and Brother on a work table and one portable Kenmore. More than that there is massive quantities of vintage fabric and sewing notions dating back to, at least the 50s. We keep pulling fabric from every nook and cranny. Silk, wool, cotton print-everything you can think of. We haven’t yet gotten to everything yet but plan to be done by Friday.
Then there is the backyard. Pots, cute garden decor, vintage and other gardening tools, patio furniture and more. All the stuff we can't fit in the house that will come out of the 2 attics. Vintage baby furniture and more vintage furniture. Stuff here for resellers and collectors alike. (Still) Not done setting up but this is a taste of what to expect!
Cash Only. Bring Help to Load large Items. Sign-up sheet will be available at 3:00pm Thursday. Be considerate of our neighbors and don't park in or in front of driveways!! We are not responsible for accidents! I will add the pictures here on Tuesday evening (when we are done setting up). We will go half-price on Saturday. I still have not gone through every single thing but I believe there is some interesting things-something for most!!! Hope to see you there!
