We welcome you to the memories of three generations of loved family members.  Our collection includes magnificent pieces passed down from great grandparents to grandparents to parents and children spanning from the early 1900s to the present.

With many travelers in the family, the collection was purchased from countries around the world including Ireland, Italy, Spain, India, and the Orient.   As just a sample, the collection includes delightful vintage antiques and furniture including Duncan 5 style Mahogany pieces, a Louis XVI style vitrine made in Spain, and McGuire coffee tables among many others.  My family was always enchanted by adorable figurines including Lladro and Belleek to name a few and collected many religious icons which will be on display as well.  The collection also includes watches from Patek Philippe and Movado and a 100-150 year old marble encased pendulum clock and incline plane clock. From my mom who was a restaurant critic and model, comes an amazing array of vintage clothing, shoes and purses all of which are exquisite and many only used once.  This woman had style.

My family spared no expense in accumulating a number of art pieces including paintings, engravings, and prints from galleries all over the United States and Europe.  You will find pieces by Georges Pierre Guinegault (art), Jules Rene Herve (art), Rudolfo Marma (art) and Agapitio Labios (art), and Giovanni Battista Piranesi (engraving) among many others.  The collection also includes arts and antiques inherited from a special friend of the family, Screenwriter Harold Medford known for such classics as Berlin Express, the Damned Don’t Cry, Phantom of the Rue Morgue and many others.

We also have a very unique Nain Persian rug from Central Iran, wool on cotton, crafted in the 3rd quarter of the 20th century. The field is decorated with a central panel with pendant and floral sprays on an ivory ground.  The niche with rows of alternating rosettes.  Framed with earth-toned cartouches divided by minor borders in ivory.  The main border in ivory, patterned with rectangular panels on a lattice ground.  Minor borders in beige and medium blue, 6' 1 1/2"  x  8' 11".  These central city carpets of Iran have a great reputation for high knot density and formal designs.  Very exquisite.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson said,” our admiration of the antique is not admiration of the old, but of the natural.”  We welcome your visit to our family’s treasures and look forward to meeting you all.
