We are so grateful to announce we have been chosen to broker the personal property of one of the most important estates in Orange County located in the most prestigious ocean-front gated community. 

Appointment times will be very limited. This is by far one of the finest and most significant sales of the last several years here in Orange County. 

We just finished the first day of preparation. The sale is nothing short of spectacular. As most of you know in my 26 years in business we have sold millions of dollars in personal property. This sale has to rank in the top ten sales in terms of quality and taste. We are delighted to represent this family in seeking new homes for their life long treasures.  At the risk of writing purple prose due to my enthusiasm, I will do my best to stick to the facts and just describe what I see!

This home is reminiscent of what one would see in a turn of the century "Indochine" colonial home filled with the very best in Chinese and Asian furniture and furnishings.

Some of the items we have uncovered so far...Stunning silver...large sterling silver flatware sets, unusual serving pieces and accessories, dozens of napkin rings....Multiple sets of fine porcelain and china, Lenox retailed by Gump's of San Francisco, Gorham, Whiting, Mexican makers and more. There is Chinese Export Porcelain, pink ground, turquoise ground, lavender ground....Famille Rose dishes, lamps, bowls,  large and small porcelain figurines, Fu Dogs, Bonsai, Bronze jardinières, textiles, scrolls, antique Chinese Mudmen, and more. Dozens of pieces of American Brilliant cut glass...not just small plates or bowls or cups, but highly unusual large and significant pieces the likes of which one would see at the some of the important antique shows in Miami, Hillsborough and Pasadena where I used to exhibit...Entire rooms filled with antique Chinese Rosewood furniture. There are highly carved side tables, etagères, screens, rouge top marble tables, sofas, side chairs and ottomans...Some of the furniture is inlaid with jade, and other hardstone.....the home looks like something right out of a movie set....Do you remember the movie with Catherine Deneuve "Indochine?" If you do, you will remember the spectacular sets filled with Chinese colonial furniture and furnishings, art, art objects, and more... including Western Oils by Marjorie Reed and others. Collection of Edna Hibel art, some original, some AP's and some limited edition lithorgraphs.
Designer clothing and handbags top designer names...In accessories Judith Leiber, Mark Cross, Ferragamo, Prada, St. John...men’s and women’s designer names in clothing like Chanel, Armani, Escada, Ferragamo, Frette, Louis Feraud, Valentino, Albert Nippon, Ralph Lauren, Facconable, Calvin Klein, TSE cashmere, Neiman Marcus and Gump’s, Anne Klein, and more. A very fine estate. 

This is just the beginning...I will report back again soon as we uncover and unwrap decades of treasures from this home.

We have just handled, quietly and privately in the last two weeks, two large estates in the heart of Newport Beach. We specialize in high end estate property in gated communities.

Both estates were brokered to one buyer. One estate was a lifelong collection of fine art, 19th c paintings, silver, jewelry, fine art and fine furniture.
