We have had a fantastic first three days and now we gotta get this stuff out of here!  EVERYTHING...yes, EVERYTHING in the House is 75% OFF!

Remaining Sterling is 20% OFF!

This week we have another great sale! This is a very interesting house...the long term residents of this home not only built it (Dad was a developer) - but they went through several different styles of decorating! You will find a hodgepodge of some exceptional Mid-Century Furniture from their Dunbar phase (Yes we have Dunbar - some of which was sadly bastardized by a decorator in the late 60s) to some great Regency, Antique, and other furniture! We have a wonderful mix of 19th Century Art to Contemporary. The smalls within the home run the gamut from Victorian to Mid-Century with lots of Sterling, China, Crystal, Antiques, and Entertaining Items!

A little background: This was the home of a brilliant entrepreneur who graduated from George Washington University who while studying met his bride to be who was completing her Masters in Bacteriology. After completing his degree - he was set to go to Yale for his Masters in Business...but instead chose to settle down and get married. The Mister purchased a liquor store shortly before WWII and was quickly building a booming business as the US entered the war. Being the shrewd business man - the Mister began increasing his orders out of the premonition that the government would soon restrict the shipments of Liquor. With restrictions beginning to increase on a large number of commercial goods such as meat and vegetables and other consumer goods - He made a massive order encompassing the majority of his inventory offerings. Shortly after this order the Federal Government issued restrictions limiting liquor stores to no more than their last order. As the war progressed the Mister's Liquor Store boomed as he was able to continue his large orders and was even supplying other liquor stores thorough the duration of the war! In the 50s, the very successful couple decided to relocate to Los Angeles with their two daughters so the Mister could begin his dream - to become a housing developer in the exploding Los Angeles economy. The new home the family settled into was one of the first built by the new developer who went on to establish another successful career! And his Missus? Not only was she a fantastic homemaker and mother - she was an avid hostess organizing many events along with volunteering and eventually working at a local hospital and clinic. Both were active in the community and in their temple for the duration of their rich and interesting lives!

On to the details of the Sale!

It'll be sunny (we hope)! Temp 3210.
